But if  baker doesn't want to make a cake for a gay wedding, why don't you just go to another baker. If a church doesn't want to marry a gay couple, go to another church. Although I disagree with the bakers and church's decision, if there religion prohibits them to those things, they shouldnt be forced since we have freedom of religon.

Discrimination should not legal, what if a bakery was against mixed marriage? Should they be allowed to not serve them? I do believe that should be illegal.

This goes beyond that stuff tho. Landlords, employers and health care providers could use this against LGBT people.

But mixed couples don't have anything to do with religion, gay couples do. And if someone is forced to make you a cake when there religion goes against it, why would you want a cake from such a person, just go to another bakery.

I have not heard Trump say exactly who it will be for so until his first 100 days are up, lets then judge and see. I doubt he will even sign this law.

What else? I keep seeing this brought up but what else? :oprah:

This is the main example, his other comments are vague enough that we will have to wait and see (for example, his comments on the dreamers and his comments the Muslim registration, while troubling, are not specific enough to say for sure whether anyone will be violated).

Shouldnt FADA be enough tho? How many people does he have to discriminate against before it's a problem?

Nothing else because he isn't a racist, sexist, or against the LGBT community

No, it shouldn't be enough. We don't even know if it will go through at this point. :duck:

Religion shouldn't be grounds to discriminate. What makes a belief in religion anymore valid then a belief in racism?

He said he would sign it, so unless he lied to his voters (which wouldn't be that shocking), he intends to sign this and You know the bigots in congress will put it on his desk.

Yes it should be enough, if the president plans to discriminate against anyone it should be a problem. It shouldn't be "he's only doing it against gay people, I'll worry when he does it against 3 or more groups".

And it'll very likely go thru, it'll easily pass thru the house and it'll likely be able to get 51 votes in the senate. This has a good chance of getting to Donald's desk.

If legalizing discrimination against gays isn't anti-LGBT, then nothing anyone could do is racist or sexist.

It is not discrimination. If I was gay and a baker didn't feel comfortable making me a cake for my wedding because they were Christian or Muslim and their religion says marriage is between a man and women, I would have no problem not giving them my money and going to another bakery or a church/mosque. Our country says freedom of religion and people have a right to exercise there religion.

That's your choice in the situation and great for you but other people don't wanna be put up with a business of any kind treating them differently based on their sexual orientation.

Just because we have freedom of religion doesn't mean we should be allowed to discriminate against our fellow citizens. That's really abusing the the freedom to practice your religion. Just like yelling "fire" in a theater shouldn't be protected freedom of speech.

There were never tons of protests, safe spaces, and trying to turn over the system for him

No they just made rallies with signs of him calling him a n*gger and effigies of him being lynched and claiming him to not even be American because he's not white.

There is so much b.s. in this thread that it's making me sick to my stomach, but it's Christmas, so instead of posting what I really think about some of these comments and getting myself a few WPs in the process, I'm going to stick to the original topic and say that if Gaga were to perform, I definitely think that Born This Way, Angel Down, and Come to Mama should be on the setlist.

Not everyone on this site is conservative & thinks Trump is the second coming & walks on water like you do @Gaga Monster!  Everything you accuse Hillary of, Trump is ALL that & more!!!  He ran the most hateful evil campaign in modern history or probably ALL of U.S. History, and I applaud people who just don't role over on their backs and just take it/accept it.

They gave Obama hell & one of those people was Donald Trump with the racist birther nonsense!  So what goes around, comes around.  He gets EVERYTHING that is coming to him and more!!!

HE blew up the system, turned it on his head & walked over EVERYONE to get to where he is now & STILL lost the popular vote by 3 million!!!  :smh:   So why should EVERYONE else not do the same thing as he did??

He set a terrible precedent & won by doing so!  So don't be surprised if others follow suit.

As for the OP:  Hell yeah they should have an Anti-Trump rally, and she should perform:

1. Born This Way

2. Angel Down

3. Million Reasons(because it's the current single)

4. Come to Mama(for the season), or whatever the next single will be...  ;)
