My Thoughts on Lady Gaga

I am so very much blessed to be born in the same era as this lady was, the woman who changed my life, who made me a billion times happier through her music. My life would be so much less interesting without her and her music.

I happen to have several bouts of infatuations for several artists throughout my life, but the one that never fades, the one which keeps clinging to me, is Lady Gaga's. Even friends with whom I interact with daily can fade from my memory, but this woman whom I've never talked to or met, has been constantly in my mind. I have witnessed this woman grow, and she doesn't cease to impress me, not only she makes the best music in the world, she loves people. She loves her fans. And when I say love, it's just so genuine and authentic, it's impossible for me to get this feeling without it genuinely flowing from her, and she is family to me.

I'm sorry if this thread appears to be random, but I think it's important for me to acknowledge her place in my heart. This thread is actually inspired by my love for my parents and friends, and these are people whom I consider to be the most important in my life, the people who changed me as a person, the people whom I love so much, would never forsake, betray or abandon, and I'd like to add Lady Gaga to this array of list.

Some might call me cringy, but all I can tell you is that you don't get what she has to offer. The truth is she has taught me invaluable things about life. She has made me so happy. Each album/era has significantly changed me as a person, it gives me memories which I cherish so much, and it offers me a reason to celebrate and be excited for. She gives me a reason to look back and look forward. I've been on this journey ever since 2010, and I've never stanned someone for that long, 2017 is going to be the eighth year of my stannage, and I don't intend, nor am I able to leave her.

The Fame and The Fame Monster helped me be confident and ambitious, taught me that it's perfectly fine to be different and outstanding. Born This Way taught me that ambitions are limitless and that love and acceptance are vital for human beings. ARTPOP, the album which I love the most, helped me appreciate art, the world, people, emotions, fantasies, realities, on a deeper level, helped me reached to places and felt emotions I never thought I could reach. Cheek to Cheek and Joanne continued to help me explore human emotions.

Being the most diverse artist today, she has continued to inspire me to be hardworking and help me recognised that talents are not monochromatic.

Right now as the new year is right in front of us, I feel too proud of her, because she's gonna shine on the biggest stage of the world: the Superbowl. She has shone before, but she's gonna shine again, this time brighter, as Joanne,

and as Lady Gaga.

This post is absolutely beautiful :kara:

And I have to say to the people that don't like her new direction, that Cheek to Cheek and Joanne are the albums that poeple told her she couldn't even put out, but as we saw/can see, she's already sold millions copies of them.

Another one of your threads when you pour your feelings into text that I will love to read every single day of my life.

Your words reminded me how Gaga developed my character, introduced me to legendary artists, and captivated me to the world of her art. It is truly spectacular how this woman inspired us all in different and similar ways. Joanne is a brilliant album that I can relate to every single day. Her lyrics achieved relating to my life and hers at the same time. Thank you so much for taking your time to type this out, because it is truly a blessing to have someone with a open heart and lovely thoughts about Gaga like you. We need more positivity in this forum. You achieved it by reminding us what she has done and what she is capable of doing in the future. Thank you!

This thread is wonderful. I absolutely know what you mean and I feel the exact same way about her. I consider her a part of my family as well, since I grew up with her and love her so incredibly much. I wouldn't be who I am now if it wasn't for her. She's just such a relevant and fixed point in my life. So grateful for her existence ♥

This^ call it creepy or whatever you want but she isn't "just" a popstar to me. She was the first person who loved me truly unconditionally for who I was.

*hugs*. I so totally get you. I have a monster paw tattoo (no it isn't the same as gaga's lol) and inside the claw it says "I thought I knew what love was until I became a little monster". Gaga was the first person who loved me unconditionally for who I was. So many call her artifical but I'll tell you one thing that's for damn certain: her love for her monsters is genuine. It's a deep maternal type of love. We can't even begin to imagine the strength of her love for us. She'll love and protect her monsters until her last breath. I always say : " if you say mean and nasty things about her, she'll gently but firmly argue with you with class and grace. You say something mean and nasty about her monsters, class and grace go out the ****ing window. You hurt her monsters and now you get to meet "mama bear" gaga. Trust me you don't wanna meet mama bear gaga. "

This post is sweet but i want to understand your point more and I aren't trying to diminish your love of Gaga but if you've never met her, spoke to her or had any interaction other than what she chooses to display to the public how can you love her personally and believe she would love us with her last breathe?  I understand the love of her music and the love for how it can stir emotion but actual love, maternal/family love?

I never understand that part. I love her music and the way her music makes me feel but I can't say I feel she would die for me? :oprah:

Thanks for this beautiful and heart-warming post!

I am so sad I was late to the party and I couldn't witness her previous eras as much as I do now. She really helped me a lot. I could write a lot about her but I feel like you already expressed how much she means to us. I do think we are her reason to stay:hug:
