Gaga's cover of IWYL didn't even chart, so it's clearly worse

:giggle:

Because it's not officially released :saladga:

OT: yes IWYL is better than all of them combined because this indie folk genre she went for LG5, which is clearly influenced by Mark smh, doesn't really suit her style

I’m getting on your nerves

Maybe because it was never released? we couldn't even get a proper HQ audio because the song was only used in that Tom Ford promo.

No, but if I had to fit it into a comparison of all the Joanne tracks, it'd definitely make the top 5.

I agree with this

YES...I love her version of that song.   IWYL was basically what I thought at least a couple of songs off of LG5 were going to sound like.   With the other songs sounding like industrial funky goth pop, maybe with a dark ballad or two thrown in.   I don't dislike Joanne...I just find the indie "sound" she chose to come across kinda dated and done to death by other artists who have have nailed that style better than her.

This is so annoying. All the Joanne hate bothers me.

It's not "Joanne hate" though :green: I love Joanne and many of the songs on it, but I just happen to like IWYL more than any of them. I mentioned this in the spoiler in the OP, but you must have missed it.

No, however, I do it more on a comparison of skill.

I want your Love is just a cover. Not only is it a cover, it a shorter version of the original song. not to mention the song is boring since it is far more repetitive than anything on Joanne.

I mean it's good for an occasional bop, but in comparison to anything Gaga wrote for Joanne, it's really not that much.

It's very interesting as a song, but honestly, you're comparing two different genres with an exceptionally bitchy fandom. It's gonna be one way or another, with very few people in the middle.

Really? Perfect Illusion and Million Reasons say hello :sure:

"It wasn't love, it wasn't love
It was a perfect illusion (perfect illusion)
Mistaken for love, it wasn't love
It was a perfect illusion (perfect illusion)
(Aah) you were a perfect illusion
(Aah) it was a perfect illusion
It was a perfect illusion
Somewhere in all the confusion
It was a perfect illusion, illusion (illusion)

It was perfect illusion
Somewhere in all the confusion
You were so perfect
You were a, you were a perfect illusion"

"You're giving me a million reasons to let you go
You're giving me a million reasons to quit the show
You're givin' me a million reasons
Give me a million reasons
Givin' me a million reasons
About a million reasons"

Cold as ice cream, but still as sweet.

In my opinion, no. "I Want Your Love" is good, and I'm glad Gaga covered it, but I'd still rather listen to "John Wayne," my least favorite song on Joanne

Schwerk

Why is this even a question? IWYL isn't even her song. What's the use of comparing it to her music? Unless you want her to be a cover artist 'like she was back in 2015)

IWYL is a classic and a whole different musical style than Joanne.

According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

IWYL uses its own chorus, sung in a different fashion, as it's second verse.

No, you can't get more repetitive than that.
