2020Covid19IsOurs 6,901
I was "GP" at that time and thought the song was annoying and repetitive. It was at this time I was convinced Gaga was out of ideas Gaga x JeffHardy x BillMaher
Luxe Ford 3,481
Because Leila K sued Gaga for copying her singing style, but now that Leila K is a homeless addict and broke, Gaga will re-release it and have her biggest number one yet. That's why. What happens in Luxe Ford stays in Luxe Ford
RainingOnMe 7,280
It was not very strategic. I mean, the whole Easter thing was a bit too much as well... Schieße should've been the 2nd single. :-/

The controversy was almost the same, and it's still one of the biggest hits in history. It will never die. Everybody knows and loves it. But Judas' lyrics are far more forward than Alejandro. I think that's why it didn't chart remotely as well as Alejandro, or any single from Born This Way. Although there's Marry The Night... Which I still to this day don't know why it didn't go number one at least once..

Naor Daniel 937
One of her best songs and one of her best hits. It had a huge impact. I bet she'll drop it from Joanne tour because now she's a conservative white Christian

Alejandro as a song has nothing to deal with the religion, only the video is controversial and most of people doesn't care/has never watched the video. When you hear the song on the radio, nothing is problematic. For Judas, it's completely different, listening to a song stating "I'm in love with Judas baby"/"Judas is the demon I cling to" can bother A LOT of people.
