HauntingHollow 4,310
Do you think the Gaga we got during 2008 - 2011 was just a product of her team ? I mean, back then she was just there for the art of it, giving us all we wanted, it was all perfect, she was authentic, she was not forcing anything, everything was seemless, but then her team and managment fell apart and she became ... messy, i am not sure how to describe this but as if she lost all the creativity with them, she bacame way to personal, trying to allways get some message across, trying to connect and what not, but that is okey, just everything else along with her music and content went downwards... so was it her team and the haus that made her what she was ? Because i feel like the Gaga we know now could never be what she was back then on her own You can not hide if nobody pays attention to you :*

REALITY 76,679
She always was trying to get a message across and connect with people. Saying that she's just doing that now makes no sense. I don't think the "Gaga" we got was necessarily a product of her team or anything. And, maybe it's just me, but I don't understand how people can say that. She became Lady Gaga because she had a love for music, art, fashion, etc. By that definition, anyone could have been Lady Gaga. I mean, if it was just a team's creation, then there's no uniqueness from Gaga. Her uniqueness, style, and overall persona as a pop star is unique to her. She made herself. And, apparently things weren't as "seamless" and "perfect" as you may describe it. She said during the CBS Sunday Morning interview that she had trouble "being Lady Gaga" because she didn't want to let the fans down. She always wanted to be revolved around the art, because that's what people knew her as. With Joanne, we're just seeing a more unfiltered Gaga, that's all. joannesrats 26
She is creative by herself, but she needs the management and the business aspect from her team. She's a brilliant performer, but even though she may think she knows what her fans want she doesn't. She also isn't a marketing expert, so she needs to learn she can't do it all on her own - which is perfectly fine. She's a lot like Ryan Murphy - great at creating concepts, not the greatest at keeping them up or building off of them.

Heidi Montag 409
Yes, anyone who denies this is delusional. The people around her, not Stefani herself, created the Lady Gaga we all fell in love with back in the day. Buy SUPERFICIAL on iTunes

Teams have a hand in creating pop stars and stuff, but her passion, love for music, and overall love for theatrics and art were pivotal parts in 'making' her Lady Gaga. pedrohemg 7,802
The beginning of Gaga's career was perfect cause she had the right people around her. She barley had the chance to make great decisions. Because you know, when you're starting to be famous you must follow the rules because you're not the boos yet. But when Gaga became that HUGE mainstream she decided to be more in control of her own career, she was the boss now. Changes in her crew was made for many reasons that we can't be sure about. Her looks started to change for the worse. And then the ARTPOP era began. ARTPOP was a notorious mistake mainly because she chose the wrong people to work with. The concept of the album is great but for an artist with only 5 years of fame it wasn't suitable. Born This Way is an album that appeals for you to be who you are and don't be afraid to show your true-self. Then, she made an album that shows no message, nothing valuable. xoxo cupcakke 4,781
I mean, Gaga's stage name has been shown to be the product of Gaga and her team, but Gaga, the artist, is creative all by herself. Like someone else said, she just needs a team who can make her visions come to life easily. But after a lot of them left her like that, good riddance. She and her new team can be as messy as they want or not, whether intentional or not, but as long as she's happy, I am willing to accept Gaga and a majority of her endeavors
