And it's more creative than Bad Romance. Actually I can't see anything creative in TFM. Except for one or two songs maybe.
Mister Gaga 22,889
If we're talking just about creativity, regardless of which is my fav, i'd definitely chose ARTPOP. It's her creative peak, imo. The concept is difficult to understand for some people (no shade), but i think it's actually great and risky, and no other popstar but her could have done it. It's just so outside the box, so original and experimental. It was quite refreshing to listen to it after so much unoriginal and intended-to-be-hits songs (PRISM as a whole, for example). Aura by itself is one of the most creative and enigmatic songs of her career, to begin with The album as a whole includes so many genres, inside it's pop soul (EDM, R&B, rave, house, straightforward pop), and so many melodies (there's no recycling at all between them, like TGIF - Birthday, there're no fillers). Idc, i find it amazing, and even frustrating, knowing that she couldn't develop her ideas properly.

Akbar Yunadi 143
ARTPOP is definitely her most creative album to date. The concept, the music, the art is soo damn good. I love him even more in this era. It's just, yah, you know, the meltdown, the ungrateful little **** who sad that it flopped or something. This album is clear definition of creativity, bop, and culture. She really is a martyr. Gaga for life. akbaryunadi
NIghtmareElm 2,606
Either The Fame Monster or Born This Way but I choose The Fame Monster. It just sounds more original.

She talked about religion, social issues such as the lgbt community and female empowerment, immigration, having sex with JFK, NY city, motorcycles, unicorns and leather, and it all feels cohesive somehow. + it had a song about marrying (out of all things) the night + "I don't speak german but I can if you like" has to be the most iconic line in history + the breakdowns in Judas, Scheisse, TEOG, and the last minute of MTN are out of this world + she delivered everything (vocals, emotions, bangers, costumes, theatre AND personality) AND IT WORKED OUT Where did it work out? music wise or era wise? Guest
ARTPOP>BTW>TFM What makes me feel that ARTPOP is the most genius off all of her records is simply because it's the most misunderstood. People critized it for being too artsy, too try-hard. It lacks concept, cohesivness, meaning, quality. In fact, the whole era felt like she held up a mirror to herself while discovering her own pain through the looking glass. That pain was transformed into an EDM/Dance-Pop album and it didn't end with the music on its own. She tried to convert the message of her emotions and mental breakdowns in all of her performances of that era, not to forget her fashion statements and interviews. It's definitely an era which made people confused and it seemed that many of the GP lost more respect for Gaga each time she tried out another way of dealing with her inner pain. She suffered so much during that journey that she nearly broke apart because of that need to push the demons into the spotlight, which made people disrespect her even more as a person. All those things conspire to an unfiltered, intense and extremely personal journey. (maybe even more personal than Joanne, at least imo with what we've seen so far). She has an incredible ability to open herself with her music. With ARTPOP I feel like she broke herself open. Her personal stamp on each track on this album is full of pure emotions tortured by pain. ARTPOP seems to be overly superficial but in reality it's the one in her discography which has shaped her the most.

hoeslay 4,173
The whole point of ARTPOP was embracing your creativity. She handmade a lot of the outfit pieces and accessories and had crazy colorful visuals. She painted a lot during this era and evolved her art a lot. ARTPOP wins on creativity hands down.
