lol nobody's upset it's just annoying seeing everyone hope she gets some big hit when she's been over for at least 5 years now and clearly out of touch with how to even engage the music market in the most basic ways. Just being honest!

applause is big hit,and DWUW is good hit, so what beyonce dont have big hit in 2016 and have fantastic tour

Spoiler

But on a serious note, I just think that MR won't become big thanks to the radios now. Even with the Super Bowl, it will re peak if she performs it and that's it. They will hardly spin in after that, if they haven't so far. Whatever, looking forward to her biggest performance yet.

Applause? Gaga's career has been commercially over since Judas in 2011. She's struggled with everything important since then: streams, touring, single sales, album sales, acclaim, etc. Everything immediately vaporized the moment she decided to think she can direct, choreograph, produce, edit and perform all of her work (she can't, clearly she's talentless as a director or anything but singing and performing).

Anyway, the Super Bowl sounds like it could help her but I'm more under the impression she's got nothing special planned and it'll be her in that nerdy pink hat plucking a guitar with some old fart rockers no one cares about :rip:

No when she had 3 number 1 albums after that, and a MASSIVE world tour (BTWB). But yes I agree she s been declining since then... I hope things can turn around for her.

When it comes to albums she's still selling on par with other female pop-stars who are at their peak (Ariana Grande), get instant radio support (Rihanna) and are adored and followed by the streaming-savvy younger teenagers (both). Let's not act as if she was pulling Nelly Furtado numbers or something. Long gone are the days when she used to be that industry juggernaut like in 2010, but we've known this for years now, no one stays at their peak forever, and there are a lot of shades between 'massive seller' and 'complete disaster'. She's a strong album seller, she still gets the biggest promo slots (and just got the biggest one ever) and she manages to deliver awesome performances. Plus, her image is way more polished and nice at the eyes of the general public. Do I have to remind you when the whole world used to bash her and you couldn't mention her without getting horrified looks by the people surrounding you? She's visibly doing what she likes, with way less pressure than before, and she's still managing to stay relevant in the industry. People love MR, this is a fact, since that song has been getting nothing but praise following the performances. The only problem is that it's not getting enough exposure because of radio blatantly ignoring her, but let's not act so dramatically. Saying that Gaga's career has been over for years is just an over the top rant, and acting as if she was going to retire from the industry is simply melodramatic.

apparently a song is a flop when people don't like it ---> PERFECT ILLUSION is a flop song.

In this case, we can call MR a boycotted song, and it's pretty different actually.
