As I recall I could be wrong but I don't think PI was ever on sale. MR has sold about 260k with alot of promo and the majority of that 260k has been half priced discounts. PI was a hit if they would have performed it in VS it would have sold another 100k to 150k easily with a sale and she would have had two songs of the album go gold in sales before the third single is released. Ok it's time to deal with the fact that Perfect Illusion isn't a hit, but it's a flop, not because she didn't promote it, but becaude GP clearly didn't like it. The only thing you need for your single to smash is RADIOS, only radios. Promo is just something more! Million Reasons is a hit because it shown potential during Carpool Karaoke! That's why they decided to make it a single and perform it everywhere! For example: Perfect Illusion got more than 12,000 spins during first week in italy. It fell out of top10 after 5 days. It could've been a streaming hit if people would've liked/loved it so much, but it wasn't going nowhere in that direction. Most of its streams and those shazams y'all moan about are coming only from the fanbase (people doing 1k shazams a day), a huge reason why y'all are so delusional. Obviously in Europe the song wouldn't have done so well In the beginning but Gaga is such a great live performer that with a television performance in Europe she would have nailed down at least a moderate hit. Then she still could have had big hit with MR. I like MR don't get me wrong but there was not reason for PI to have been brushed under the rug so quickly. MR would have still been performed in the VS fashion show. And other places.
