Every one of these departments will have some effect on the gay community in one way or another. Why does he only choose from republicans? Obama picked people from both sides of the aisle and attempted to be as non-partisan as possible. He chose who was best for the job. Trump is just choosing his billionaire buddies and will enact policies that will make the rich richer and the poor and middle class poorer. I don't understand how his supporters don't see this... The law would: "effectively legalize anti-LGBTQ discrimination across the board, including among employers, businesses, landlords and healthcare providers, as long as they claim to be motivated by a firmly held religious beliefs."
