I think that it's too dangerous to perform there, they can kill Gaga! They better Kill the Bitch and not to kill Gaga.

I don't know if it's bad news or good news :s

maybe gaga decided to let mother G.O.A.T perform the whole show

Before there was love, there was silence

Guys, this isn't confirmed. It's only confirmed by some random fan site, so let's wait for more info.

It is not confirmed by random fan site.

it is from Tempo Interactive website.

Tempo Magazine is well respected magazine in the country that mainly covering politics news.

It have been published since 1971.

And was banned in 1982 and again in 1994 for being too vocal

and always publishing news that suppose to be government's top secret.

"kami tidak ada perwakilan di TVOne yg lg tayang. For the best of the process, km tdk bs bnyk comment ke media."

"iya betul. Jika batal, pasti refund 100%. saat ini masih ON."

Well, the last tweet regarding this on BigDaddy account posted 5 hours ago was

telling that they cannot say too much yet until things settled and confirmed

because it's a sensitive matter for the moment.

So we'll see how things going.

I never thought there will be so much permission need to be granted.

At least i learn something from this event.

During talk show on local TV channel here few hours ago regarding this controversy,

it is found that the first permit one promoter need to have is from immigration

cos an artist will need visa and permit to do business in any country they are visiting.

And there is much more permit need to be completed before the show runs.

The final permit will only be issued at least 3 weeks before the actual date of concerts.

Hence this problems happened.

And also from the same show

it is found that many promoters there have been offered the tour by LiveNation for as low as $20 Billion/night before BigDaddy take it.

So BigDaddy will actually losing so much $$ if this should be cancelled

since at least half of the price have been paid on front to the artist as a deal.

first tweet: Sorry Lil Monsters, we still processing with the permit and very sensitive (matter) and for the best result, we couldn't comment too much on the media (at the moment) (But) promise we will update (you).

#2: We don't have any representative on the talkshow by TVOne tonight. For the best of the process, we can't comment much to the media yet.

#3: Yes, correct. If this should be cancelled, we will refund 100%, up until now it's still ON (still going to happen)

And, as always, regardless of the outcome, the fact that fundamentalist religious factions are terrified of her is proof that she's a positive force in entertainment and art. It's a testament to the importance of her message and the progressiveness of her image. :legend:

:golfclap:

I just wanna know if its actually cancelled or not, I hate all these rumours. I don't know what to think, because I don't know what to believe.

If she goes, I hope they all know what they're doing and her and the fans remain safe.

If she doesn't, then I feel gutted for the fans and for Gaga, but safety should come first.

I think this issue will be resolved within this week, just like the promoter said few days ago

Correction, the notes was just justification on their part.

The real issues was because Aussies are one of biggest supporter of USA

who that time were ruled by G.W.Bush. who declaring war with Afghanistan.

And the bomb terrors during early 2000s was led by Malaysian citizens, (Azahari Husin and Noordin M Top)

as part of Al Qaeda links in South East Asia and creating chaos in the Indonesian land because Indonesia is the most respected among another in the SEA and they wanted coverage on news.

Indonesian Moslem are moderate. Even some of the respected imam are of Chinese descent.

But influence from purist/puritans from outside like Malaysia has since stained the Moslem teaching in Indonesia.

Okay, thanks for the background/info. I appreciate it. Anyhow, I feel it's incredibly sad that Indonesia has been getting attacked more by new, home-grown Islamist groups that get Malaysian help to support suicide bombers, etc. than ever. Oh, and I never talked about anyone but fundamentalists, btw, I never mean to imply that the people of Indonesia, as a whole, are not moderate in their beliefs.

It's that trend in fundamentalist violence that's been taking place for the last 20 years in Indonesia (or so I have read) that I'm so very worried about. :(

“If Lady Gaga still wants to perform here, go ahead. But please be prepared for chaos in Jakarta. We are ready to be thrown to jail and be killed -- we will do anything to stop it,†FPI Jakarta Chairman Habib Salim Alatas told AFP."

:usrs:

This is ****ing insane. I really don't want her to perform there.

This is really So - Sooooooo STUPID! It's not as simple as, 'Oh Gaga is so brave' and she doesn't want to disappoint her LM's - - sorry but NO amount of LM's is worth her risking her life. The security will have to be outrageous if not totally impossible. They will HAVE to have metal detectors at all the entrances - and check every pocket and pocketbook. Gee, I'm sure this country is so efficient at good security.

Also, Gaga is going to have to be so covered up, she won't even look like Gaga - she might as well wear giant black garbage bags over herself.

And people, remember that all it takes is just ONE nut. In addition to what they couild do to Gaga, what about the rest of the stadium - they could start an outright riot and then blame it on Gaga.

This is not good - and I think Gaga is being Naive to keep the show. It's more important that she continue her tour in one piece.

I'm sure Gaga is doing EVERYTHING she can to make this concert happen. It's a matter of principle, and I think she would rather risk her life than let the freedom-killers win.
