Don't come with that 'then you're not a true fan' bullshit. I think she's saying that just to prove herself something that's false, or that she's embarrassed to say she still wants accolades or fame (which is not bad at all). Because being followed around by paparazzi and having your relationship public for the world to watch is so easy! Fame has ups and downs. She has constantly referenced them, wether it's in her music or her interviews. She seems to be in a confident zone and she didn't seem to have that much of it in ARTPOP...
