I hear you out completely although cannot relate, to be honest here in Canada the perspective is completely different. The GP like her and don't assume she's exclusively for gays, although they acknowledge her leadership within the community. I've never, ever, even in high school been mocked for liking Gaga, and boy I talked about her a lot.  I don't wanna assume much either but the people that judged you seem like shitty people. I would place a lot of money guessing they were also straight... So how is this thread the problem? We are shining a light on straight males that like Gaga, a group you say has been alienated, literally glorifying them. You seem to be frustrated with the wrong people. 

You don't agree with it nor are you familiar because BTW became some sort of anthem to LGBTQ more than anybody else. Yes, it's for every marginalized group amd those who are bullied but it applies the most to LGBTQ and pretty much majority of people will tell you that.

Yes, I agree those that judge me are shitty close minded people but when the majority of responses from LGBTQ monsters towards straight fans is doubt (as this thread shows), it doesn't really send a good signal.

And this holds true for my homeland AND where I am now (Canada) based on my personal experience. So what I'm saying is your personal experience on how you were treated is not invalid, but there are differences still depending on which group you are coming from and which group surrounds you. Why do you think Gaga hasn't had a top 10 hit yet? It's still mostly her fanbase keeping her afloat now, majority of which are LGBTQ. The fact that here in GGD alone, there are very few straight men (that will almost always be doubted as soon as it is brought up) should give you an idea. I know some of them are jokes by the way. But they still contribute to the point I'm trying to say.
