#32 Joanne

After a partial misfire with the ambitious pastiche Art Pop and a successful Great American Songbook career-reset with Tony Bennett duet LP Cheek to Cheek, Gaga landed back in her sweet spot with Joanne: a kitchen-sink pop album that tosses in Nashville swing, rock guitars and open-veined lyrics. There are fun, hand-clapping romps ("A-Yo"), meditative acoustic odes ("Joanne," devoted to her namesake aunt), classic Gaga bangers ("Perfect Illusion") and an instant-classic breakup ballad that will soundtrack every crying-in-the-rain montage for decades to come ("Million Reasons"). Stefani's (still) not flawless, but she's definitely got a diamond heart. — G.K.

Thank You is the definition of trash.

I agree about Glory tho. A very solid pop album, enjoyable from start to finish :/

Oh my GOD, FML!!!!!! Everyone on here is killing it with the highest-quality gifs, lately. :toofunny:

On topic: Slady Gaga, queen of the 30s! Deserves to be higher, obviously.

If Gaga released a quality album like Beyoncé or even Rihanna, then maybe it'll be top 20. Joanne was cute at first (still pressed that it didn't snatch 70+ on metacrtic) But anyway, Lemonade deserves all the praise because it was amazing from start to end and the visual slayed. I personally think Anti should have been higher, like top 10.

I could deal with the low rankings (#32 here, Joanne as the "worst" album out of her five released ones) if they wouldn't praise her all the time only to give her bad ratings the next day, Billboard is so ridiculous.

Please add Lemonade to your notable mentions as it is number 1, and better than any other album named.

I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.
