I dont really care for the radio, will the play it or not and neither should you, if you enjoy the song yourself  who cares if she is popular? I rearly listen to popular songs and considering the most popular acts today, the GP might mainly be 11 year old girls--- considering the acts that got  the most atention, those preteens might the biggest demographic that buys the music- well they stream it online, its not like people even chart actual album sales today. Its big  mess the music bussines today , you really should  not filter the quality of the performer through charts, beacuse the simplistic most  idiotic tunes is the more it clicks  with primary  school girl to stream and buys on itunes, and rest of the people dont  really bother, if they like artist they buy their record in stores on verry rear occation.

Having said all that, she must feel really stupid considering she payed  and bride all those radio stations with payola and gifts, and spend entire spetember and october talking ****.

All this bussiness calcualtion from her team, meanwhile you could book 3 to 4  festival gigs  and prepare live performances with music video . Fans would be happy, and the GP (those taht are  interested in quality music, and dont watch disney channel) would respect her more.

At the end of the day we have really really  good album, GP  didnt hear the album, they heard her  talking about how she is ordinary regular traditional catholic italian who has father, mother, sister.  , and the only song people got to hear is the one that reeks of christianity and religion. Which, alot of people, myself including find cringey to the point i rearly listen the song anymore- as it gives me this kind of vibes

the lyrical content at least.

Its not getting any buzz? The point of this post is that, despite the buzz its getting, its getting no radio play. Also the GP likes it... it skyrocketed to #1 after carpool Karaoke and after her other performances the song continued to rise, its only not staying because of lack of radio play.

Okay, when I said "it's not getting any buzz" I meant barely anyone outside of us is talking about it :madge:

And radio airplay does not guarantee success. They played PI on the radio for a week and no one seemed to respond to it. If people liked it they would've surely kept playing it :lolga:

This is so sad and frustrates me :saladga:

Spoiler

Edit: Even yesterday I listened TIHTY on the radio... I don't understand what's happening, honestly. It's an excellent ballad and the most radio-friendly track of the album... :grr:

I heard A-YO in a cafe once, it sounded great

should have been a single :giggle:

Also I walked by a KIA showcase event thing and they were playing Applause, it sounds so good, I guess it still is their commercial song lol

Cause once you let it go you better know it's gone

No offense but these three are more relevant than Gaga currently.

By relevant I mean their names/songs have been on people's tongues for the past year. We really have to understand that while Gaga is iconic, it doesn't mean people will automatically run to her with every album release (save for us, her fans). Gaga needs to get lucky with a single for that to happen just like Daya, Alessia, and Zara all had.

It's really unfair to the latter three tbh. Their music is catchy and with a mixture of luck they managed some hits, especially since if you pay attention to music.lys, Instagram posts etc. you'll most definitely hear some kind of overplayed song (Closer and Don't Let Me Down for example), and that keeps the hype going in the mainstream.

I have yet to hear a cover of Million Reasons from any of my favorite singers on Insta so far. But again, I'm not really active on social media either.

And disclaimer: While hearing Gaga being overplayed everywhere would feel so good  We should really just let things run their course. That Spotify streaming thread I saw a while back was just too desperate I honestly am starting to feel bad for this fanbase.

Who the fuq daria alessia and zara? Those are fast-fashion shops' names

Correction, I hear it once in a while on a station here in NY, 102.7. They play it every like 6 hours or so, and I told them to keep playing it and they liked my tweet. It's not a top 40 station, more a work/easy listening station and they love it.

Top 40 is all payola and repetition. They should be marketing MR to those easy listening stations or whatever you'd like to categorize them as.
