In reality, it's her bravery that terrifies me. I don't have PTSD but I've struggled with depression my whole life. During the bad days, it's a struggle just reaching 2 feet over and putting something in my nightstand. That simple task physically exhausts me and I'm spent for the day. On those days, showering, doing laundry, making meals, etc are just out of the question. Just the very thought of getting up and doing those things exhausts me. Gaga is so incredibly brave to share her story. Words cannot express how much I love this woman. She's taught me lessons that nobody else did and most importantly, she showed me that unconditional love does exist. She spent years "raising" us in a way and she was always there no questions asked. She showered us in affection like any good "mama". She loved us unconditionally. She always took us back no matter how many times we ****ed up. She's been nothing but good to us. I love my monster family dearly but if your biggest concern is the charts, what outfit she's wearing, or when the music videos are coming out, you really need to re-evaluate why you Stan her. If it's just because you love the outfits and the music, quite frankly I think it's time for you to leave. Don't get me wrong, I love the outfits and the music too but I also love everything underneath all of that. The music and the outfits are just icing on the cake for me. I love her for who she is. Saying that you "love" gaga but then ripping her apart because she isn't wearing a quirky outfit or her latest song isn't doing well on the charts isn't love. You don't love gaga for who she is underneath all of that. Love shouldn't be conditional. It's just like the modeling agencies who say "yeah we'll take you but you have to get breast implants, lose 20lbs, dye your hair blonde, get a nose job, fix your under eye bags, etc" Jesus H Christ just tell them "I'm sorry but it won't work". To the "monsters" who have had the audacity to say that she's playing the victim and doing it for attention, I'm so disappointed. I'd like to remind you that she's been nothing but good to us. She didn't have to invite us on stage, send us pizza, and shower us in hugs and affection. She didn't have to love us as if we were her own. She chose to do those things because she loves us so very much. She's always been there when we needed her. If you can criticize and abandon her now then you don't deserve to be called a monster. The bond that we have with gaga is eternal. It has no end. some have said that since she doesn't mention us as much anymore, she must not love us. So not true. She'll love us until her last breath. She's just quietly tucked away. There's a park behind my apartment that my daughter and I go to 2-3x a week to feed the ducks. There's a mama duck there and 6 babies that I think mama duck adopted as they're all different colors. Even though they're almost as big as mama duck now, she still looks back and does a "head count" when they get back to the nest to make sure everybody is there. She still has them get behind her when a strange dog approaches them for a sniff. She still lets people know when they're getting to close to the "babies". Yeah they're almost as big as mama duck but the instinct to keep them safe is still there. They may be nearly grown but they're still babies to mama duck. Lol my daughter and I lovingly call them "gaga and the little monsters". Yeah we've gone from little monsters to fully fledged monsters but gaga still has the instinct to look out for us. No matter how old we get, we'll always be little monsters to her. Haha it's a "mom" thing. My daughter is 6 now but to me she's still the toddler in the green feetie pajamas. I love you monsters. Part of me misses "paws up" gaga even though she's still there. She's just quietly tucked away. Mandy was a tiny bit worried that I'd look out of place wearing that but I know gaga would appreciate it. She'd see it and give me that little half smile that says "I know what you're trying to say". We've gone from little monsters to fully fledged monsters but no matter how old we get, gaga will always see us as little monsters I love you monsters. Words can't describe how much I love that woman. People have said that she doesn't love us anymore because she doesn't do paws up and say I love you 20x a day. Quite the opposite. She loves us more than anything. I have a feeling that the paws up symbol and the "I love yous" were being done/said so often that they started losing their special-ness. When she did the "paws up" after yelling at that guy to delete that footage he had taped, it just felt extra special. It was her way of saying "I still love you more than anything." The same with the I love yous. She says it when she sees us and it feels so much more genuine. It's like eating chocolate cake. If it's always around, it loses its special-ness.
