Keep being pressed about J.Lo's success. As a business woman, she's had a huge year. Regardless of what you think of her. What's she doing at #1 of Forbes most powerful celebrity list if Britney had a far better and more successful year than her?

Don't get me wrong - I'm not saying Britney didn't have a good year.

That's WHY people are complaining, JLo is a nobody.

Are you people seriously telling me JLo hasn't had a great year? Because Im just smh at all this hate for her. She has had a great year musically. A great year non-music wise as well. She only earned $52 mill through a 'MASSIVE FLOP ALBUM', a job on American Idol (biggest reality show on the planet tbh), clothing lines, cosmetic deals, fragrances etc. and became a 'single mother' after the divorce - she's done very well.

I'm not a J.Lo stan - but y'all need to just, like, accept the fact that she isn't a flop.

Justin Bieber does have a following - and a social impact (not to a wide audience though). Tbh, I just don't think he's uber talented. But I guess at his age, he has had nothing short of a mega successful career.

Her album was a flop, look it up yourself.

You make it sound so awful. Her hit singles from LOVE fared well. On the Floor did more business than any Britney single last year.

Her hit singles? Really, so what HIT did she have outside of On the Floor?

You just don't like Britney and shade her any chance you get.

Imagine if Gaga, Bieber, Rihanna or Katy were in first place, it would already trend worldwidely on twitter, but...nothing. Because J.Lo doesn´t even have a stable fanbase.

And it'd actually be understandable if it weren't Gaga, for it to be KP/Rihanna/Bieber. I don't personally love the three, but I could see them as being top-par celebrities.

This was the first year Gaga took #1 with the Press, but she tumbled with the web. (That's not media reporting, just searches etc.) That's likely from decreasing curiosity, as she's become more of a household name than a new-comer.

JLo year has been HUGE - she's had HUGE success music-wise, HUGE success TV wise and has been in the media constantly. IMHO, JLo had the better year.

JLo could have done alright last year, but calling her the biggest celebrity of 2011? Bigger than Oprah, Bieber (stay pressed, the Biebs ****s on JLo) and Gaga?

um?? what the hell? JLO? Seriously? I would put her in top 10. Maybe at #7 or #8.but not #1!

BUT When I think about it . . JLO made a HUGE comeback, had a huge hit , judge on American Idol she was the IT girl in the last 12 months. While Gaga wasn't THAT fresh. Yes she had a hit album, hit singles, but maybe with the tour in 2011 and starting right away in North America, Gaga would been #1.
