She's not a vocalist like Mariah or Whitney but she wouldn't be considered the queen of pop if she was just known for a good voice. Pushing the boundaries and writing music from the heart along with her performing skills is why she is famous. She puts on a performance, she doesn't just stand or sit in front of a mic and sing ballads. Madonna INVENTED the term female popstar. She was called a "rock star" at the beginning while Michael Jackson was already called a "popstar".
