Thanks for the review, it was so detailed and great!
You are so lucky you were there. You should've gone to talk to her but I understand that you wouldn't want to seem like a crazy fan in your work environment.

You're all so welcome! I am glad you enjoyed reading

For those of you asking more about how she was when the cameras were off; honestly, she was just as she's always been. She was laughing with the judges, having fun with Nicole... it felt like 'old gaga' (I hate this phrase because she hasn't changed, not really).

Now, I don't know if this part will make the edit but after her second performance, Gaga wanted to re-do her outro with Dermott. She stood on the platform for about a minute or so with nothing happening... it was quite uncomfortable, really.  She then called for Dermott and he explained that they're keeping the first chat they had - which was a really awkward exchange, with Dermott literally forcing her to do an English accent despite her resisting three times.

Without Dermott, she then took her mic and said 'well I'm going to speak anyway...' and she did a little speech for all the contestants. She told them to never give up on their dreams and to always remember their artistic vision. It was so sincere and so genuine. What was great is that she didn't have to do that - she knew it probably wouldn't make the edit but she did it anyway. I hope they manage to edit it in somehow though, but I don't know... it will be tricky as Dermott wasn't standing with her.

And about her interaction with Simon. As soon as she finished her second performance, Simon immediately left the panel and strutted (he has such a walk on him :classy:) over to Gaga as she walked down the steps of the platform. He hugged her and kissed her cheek and Gaga looked really happy but slightly awkward. She left Simon and walked over to Nicole. I sensed no bad blood between them at all - I just think she wanted to see Nicole.

I also saw Simon speak to Mark Sidaway (Exec at X Factor) who was very near me, and he said that the performance was 'sensational'.

No tension between her and Sharon, either. They were hugging and laughing like friends.

I was also luck enough to be there on Saturday and see her performing twice! What a treat. But despite her perfectionism of doing the retake because of her nail falling off, the production left the bit she talks with Dermot showing her finger "without" the nail. She is not going to be happy. Oh dear! Just watch back and see the part she talks to Dermot.
