That's my opinion. Maybe I'm disgusted with her half assed attempts. I get that she is a human and has her bad days but her fans invest money in her. She could at least try to please them. That performance was full of gimmicks with her stupid ott movements, which made the performance feel inauthentic. Does she even have any acting skills? 

I am aware that my posts come across as harsh but these are true feelings. I've been one to be slayed at every performance and bow down to her like she can't do no wrong but this time I can't hide my feelings. I watched it when it aired and I'm still not over it, that's how disappointed I am.

I loved the performance, but to me the theatrics of the X Factor Performance didn't suit the song given it's a country ballad.  Vocals were sublime, it was great to watch. I just cannot deal with her when she sits behind the piano and belts it out, it's superior.

You're forgetting that this performance wasn't for the fans. It was for the general public to promote her album and song, which she has done and succeeded in, Million Reasons has stayed in the top 10 of UK iTunes since the performance. "She could at least try to please them" She tries to please them every bloody day of her life, she does so much **** for her fans....buys them pizza and coffee when they wait outside her hotel, stops to take pictures with them and sign their stuff, interacts with them on twitter (more than any other artist i know) and a whole lot more. The general public loved this performance and ate it right up and that's all that matters because after all, it was to promote the song and album.

no.

fans buy a cd - they get the cd
fans buy tickets to a tour, they get to go to the tour and enjoy it

you are not entitled to anything above and beyond that. Stop acting so damned spoiled, yes you can dislike the performance - but you can't act like Gaga has done you any sort of injustice.

Country isn't popular in the UK at all (or anywhere other than the USA, for that matter). 

Also, judging by some GP comments on other forums, it seems like some people just don't think it's a very good song. I personally don't think it should've been the second single, it's not strong enough. But tbh I think Gaga's chart days are over unless she releases a commercial bop again.
