What happened to Gaga's humor?

What ever happened to Gaga's sense of humor? Like she used to make silly songs just to release and never took herself too seriously. That's what the public fell in love with. It's no wonder that nobody is buying her new act. I still love her but it's almost like she has a stick up her ass because she wants to be taken seriously so badly. That's what's ruining her image.

I noticed this too. It's sad. All of her interviews are so serious these days. I miss LightHeartedGa.

This is what I'm talking about. Why so serious? What is she trying to prove? It just depresses me.

It had a hundred million reasons to walk away but didn't need one good one to stay :madge:

She's a more stern and serious person than her contemporaries but I've seen her made tons of jokes to be called 'lack of sense of humour'.

It could just also be where her head's at in the moment of her writing.

I mean, there's always been an inherent sense of camp in her writing, from subtly (her delivery in Cheek to Cheek), to very overtly (much of ARTPOP). I still see it here in Joanne, both in the album itself and in the promotion- I mean, look at any of Ayo's performances, specifically SNL.

But, it's definitely apparent that she's become a lot wearier these last few years.

I mean, she's still funny and humorous- some of her interviews are still pretty funky and a little extra. But yeah, it's very easy to see that, at least in this point of time, she's... tired.

Some of you really can see only one side of the coin

Yes, she's depressing as **** lately, guess she's been trying not so much to be taken seriously but to express how deeply sad she is. In a world where so many people take drugs to cope with everyday life, she has all the reasons to be serious and try to talk about her issues

And better be a bit down in the dumps than taking cocaine and others to keep the high speed pace.

She still is humours when the opportunity arises and there's still some derpga as well as Quircky classic moments.

Thank you

She's a ****ing human being, she gets sad

Do you want her to fake smiles and pretend to be happy when she's not? That's disgusting

And she's still got her humor, but she takes her art seriusly

Life has a hopeful undertone |-/

she does have to fake smiles and keep a happy facade though. It's so depressing, but that's the way of the game. We all do it in our jobs. But it's good she's trying to reach out and tell that it's human to be down, and it's a phase like being on top
