At first it's like straight up Ace of Base.

After few listen its guilty pleasure :laughga:

It's tropical mixed with sitar and I can see Bloodpop signature sounds here. So it's quite fresh.

You know most ggds love "sexy"  tho :lolga:

In my opinion DIC and John Wayne resemble her older, intense, energy-filled club-pop ala Alejandro, Pokerface, Teeth, HML, SHICD, Love Game and many others.

DIC and John Wayne are the only songs on Joanne that would be played in a bar or club, even highschool parties... Gaga used to dominated those scenes.

I still think Joanne is her best album though.:rockstar:

It's the most care-free song of the album.

Like every other song on the album has a grudge. It's not about haters, bad boys, or heartbreak. I think it's positivity translated well with the fans, same goes for Venus.

Actually that's why Gaga is so famous today, because she used to make care-free songs about being positive, but that's a whole another conversation.

It's one of the best songs on the album. It's the only "true" pop/dance song imo, when you compare Joanne to the rest of her discography. It deserves to be a single. It's just......not the friendliest for radio.

It's like if Sexxx Dreams and So Happy I Could Die are America's Next Top Model contestants, then Dancing in Circles is Tyra Banks.
