I think she couldn't be bothered now. StrawberryBlond 14,926 Posted November 29, 2016 Share Posted November 29, 2016 She must have got a better vocal coach recently because she seems to have repaired a lot of the issues that were plaguing her from 2010-2013. Seriously, some of the times that she sang in the Bionic era were dreadful. That performance that she did for the Today show was a disaster. She actually toned down some of the songs so she could hit the notes and her voice went completely haywire on some notes that she tried to reach. Towards the end, she went "no, no no" in Fighter with the last no supposed to be high but...just look for it on YouTube. But she came through it all and she's maybe salvaged it somewhat. Maybe taking breaks between albums has another purpose - making sure she doesn't damage her vocal chords. It's pretty sad that almost all the biggest divas have ruined their voices now and have to resort to lipsynching. Doing the big notes is amazing and all, but doing it on every song and performing all those songs every second night on tour is a recipe for disaster.
