Donald Trump has once again slammed the Central Bank (Federal Reserve) for having too much independant power from the main branch of Government and claims theyve done a poor job

Janet Yellen (Chairwoman of Fed) has said that Independance works better and basically states that together it would work poorly and that Trump doesnt know what hes talking about.

She also plans to use her power as early as next month by raising interest rates to fight off what she called "Trumps inflationary economic policies" when the economy is at a tipping point where inflation may suddenly spike.

Does he just not understand? :rip: anyone who reads articles every now and then (like me) knows that the central banks/federal reserve stay independent, even in banana reps like Turkey.

Same!

If she does raise rates then markets will definitely fall then flatline

If yields from bonds and fixed income rise enough to be attractive, stocks will no longer go up from investor hype and will require actual earnings growth to go up
