I stop by Joanne's every time I'm in NYC (went much more often when I lived there. My 2 sisters still go 2-3x a week as they still live there) and it's always like being home haha. I've seen Joe and Cynthia several times and they are just the sweetest people ever. I've always secretly hoped I'd see gaga not to ask for an autograph but to invite her to sit with my family and I while we chat over wine and spaghetti like old friends. She loves us more than we'll ever begin to understand but sometimes I think she just wants someone to ask "how are you? Are you ok? No are you really ok?" I love you monsters. It's a deep to her core maternal type of love. She'd rather shower us in affection than take selfies and sign autographs. So many have said that she's changed this era because she doesn't have the wigs and heels and quirky outfits but one thing that hasn't changed is her unconditional love for her monsters. That's something that's eternal. Something that will last until her last breath. People always ask me "what's it like being a little monster" and I always tell them " it's not something that can be described. You have to be a part of it to understand". I love you monsters.
