I'm not sure where this fits in the Republican/Democrat issue , but the economy and type of jobs clearly impacts the immigration issue and 'where' the flow of people go ...

I don't see the problem with immigration since this is just the bulk segment of the group. 

There are better educated individuals and many people who contribute in other ways besides low skilled labor...

The immigration system needs to be upgraded to accomidate the volume since many are at risk from criminal exploitation.

I think that the criminal underground would suffer if the migrant workers were accounted for and didn't fear law enforcement
