She totally surprised me though when she shared the YouTube video for "Million Reasons" and quoted it. I was like "Yas! Stan mother for mother monster" but I also felt bad because I assume why she connected with Million Reasons was because her current bf situation must not be working out. My dad actually began watching American Horror Story with me because he knew how excited I was that she was going to be in Hotel. However, I remember when she first came out I thought she was so beautiful (still do!) and I was showing them a picture of her at the 2009 Brit Awards and they kept insisting she was a man until I gave up and didn't mention her again for quite some time. Then I remember watching one of her performances and they started teasing saying she was copying Madonna but then it turned into real insults and I went to my room and cried. I was like ten . Once, he saw a Lady Gaga picture on my Facebook wall and he was like "Who is this?", I answered and he was like "Wow, she changes a lot, what kind of a person could even listen to her?", I was like "Yeah...I...don't know....".. Eighteen 5,430 Posted November 27, 2016 Share Posted November 27, 2016 my grandma doesn't really like her music. although she does kind of like applause and when she first heard gaga sing jazz she said that her voice really suits the genre and that she'd probably win the grammy for cheek to cheek (way before the grammy's). she also liked the star spangled banner performance. my grandma refers to electronic and rock music as "wackadoo" music but at the same time she bops to omarion's post to be and she be all like "that video is good and simple, that girl is sexy without all the twerking and i like the dancing" lmao. also as a sort of rebellion i usually play this right after to piss her off hehe: Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
