My mom is back and forth with her, loves her rock-ish stuff and her new album as well as Cheek To Cheek, she got mad when it came with me during the move upstate lol

. But when my mom dislikes her she decides to rant about it for an hour... about how she's just piggie-backing on what everyone else has already done, Madonna, Bowie, Lennon/The Beatles... She HATES her dance pop stuff, except Judas, BR, and LoveGame

When Gaga talks about her family and values, my mom thinks she is "really just someone that's into what's important."

Whenever Gaga gets controversial again my mom becomes "just not sure about that girl."

My mom used to hate her, I used to have a Fame Monster poster in my living room and she told me: "You should put that in your bathroom over your toilet where it belongs" or something along those lines 

I think my mom is just one of those people who don't "get" Gaga. 

But she likes her more now, she even listens to C2C in her car sometimes, and she thinks Gaga has a beautiful voice. I think I should make her watch the Sound of Music medley sometime, it's one of her favorite movies of all time, she knows all the songs by heart, I'd love to see her reaction to Gaga's performance

Hahahaha I'm sorry but I love your dad. He sounds like one of those guys that writes off any current pop singer because they're current lol. That's how my dad is. It's become a running joke in my family about how gaga is my surrogate mom in a way.

I wouldn't say my mom necessarily likes her but she tolerates her. She doesn't deny her talent, knows a few lyrics here and there and bought me a lot of her merchandise and tour tickets before I had a job, lol. But she's definitely not someone she would just listen to on her own.

My bio mom can't stand gaga and my dad doesn't like her either. I don't take it to heart though because my dad is the type that doesn't like any current singers because they're current lol. My bio mom pokes fun at the fact that I call gaga my surrogate mom. Deep down my bio mom is relieved in a way because she's not a huggy cuddly I love you type of mom. I have gaga for that haha

My parents never really intefere with what I listened to.

And when I got into Gaga, I already live by my own. So, they didn't know what I have been listening to. The twist is, my dad liked her, he texted me about attending one of her show and asked if I can go with him as he have one extra ticket, so I did, the three of us, with my mom too, ofc.
