Yes I know that and I'm sure that's not why Trump picked him. Every Republican has been historically anti-gay. But Pence is what I am least pleased with about Trump's campaign. But that is genuinely not why he was chosen, he was chosen for strategy and other issues unrelated to gay rights (which Pence did make an amendment to protect LGBT, which everyone seems to forget). And then they chose Kellyanne Conway from Pence's recommendation to be campaign manager, and she is pro-gay. Anyway, I'm not defending Pence, and I won't defend anyone that does things that don't support gay people, b/c it has affected me my whole life, negatively. I guess I'm just speaking on Trump and the major moves he's made for gays so far, which is unprecedented for a Republican candidate.
