The way she did it is infuriating. She had it planned that she would take it away once the kid with autism approached the mic.

Just as fast as she took that mic away she took away that kid's happiness.

I hope his parents have him removed from that school because who knows how they treat him there....

Here's the description from Youtube:

Spoiler

I was all excited to go to Caleb's play everyone did a good job. I left in tears because one teacher grabbed the microphone from Caleb and in a mean way. My son is a little different I know this but his heart is so big and he loves everyone. What does it matter if he wanted to say gobble gobble he was the turkey 🦃 after all. I'm sick of kids that are not considered "normal" be treated the way they are. Caleb I love you and you were a hell of a 🦃. Caleb has level one high functioning autism but that doesn't get in his way of being a happy little 6year old boy. Please watch the video til the end that is where it happens and tell me what you think this was at Nutterfort Elementary School.

He's just a kid. Unless he was cussing up a storm and disrupting the whole entire play, I think it was pretty rude of her to do that.

OT: F*ck that b*tch :madge:

that still isn't a full description, and based on just 1 point of view.

This. She might as well be his teacher and know he can be very unpredictable and say weird/unmannered things. We don't know that.... So yeah, if she took it away because of something like this, then I understand :cryga:

Why have the boy be involved in the play then?

because that's something completely different.

It says he's an autist, and he was studying that part for some weeks, so they knew that couldn't be a problem. But the mic thing, idk, we can might see it as a bit of improv, and the boy could say anything?

I'm NOT defending the woman pls, I'm just saying we don't know WHY she did it, she knows him better than us anyway. And if she just took it because he's an autist, then yeah, go stone her or sth, but she might as well have saved the entire event for many people.

He could've said sth bad which would've led to a lot of parents being worried about their children being in the same class as him,... idk?
