WOW. This is very surprising for Bruno. Wasn't he initially projected at over 200k? I think they possibly thought that he would sail through well without doing a ton of promo. I haven't actually listened to it yet in full but I liked the single.

Then again, historically he has had longevity so I wouldn't count him out just yet. But this doesn't look so good.

Early predictions were around 380K - 400K :laughga:

He does have longevity but 24k magic is not going to do good Cuz the album's horrible

This was an extremely competitive week, one that we don't see too often. The industry don't let it happen for this very reason. The situation will obviously be different worldwide because Miranda will be out of the equation, but Metallica will be very popular in Europe, so even so, it looks like Bruno may be debuting at #2 in most international markets at best.

I haven't heard his new album in full yet, so I can't judge but I didn't think 24k Magic was good and Versace on the Floor is alright but not amazing. Since there's only another 7 tracks to listen to, maybe a lot of people just thought it was wise to stream it instead of buying it, thinking that there wasn't enough tracks to warrant paying for it? I think it's pretty shocking that his new album released after a 4 year break only contains 9 tracks totalling just over 33 minutes, not even providing a deluxe edition (at least he gave an extra track on his first 2 albums). That kind of thing is only acceptable if you released an album last year or intend on releasing a follow-up the next year. But seeing as all Bruno's albums up until this point contain 10 tracks at the most, barely scrape a half hour in length and are only released every 2.5-4 years, it seems like this is just what he does. Short albums released occasionally. Sorry, you can't expect to sell with that model in today's market. Back in the day, yes, but nowadays, if you want to release a short album, it better consist of lengthy tracks and if you want to take long breaks, you better come back with an album packed with tracks. To do otherwise suggests you just didn't care and were just messing about all this time and don't care about your fans. Metallica's album is 12 tracks long and 77 minutes in length after an 8 year break. Miranda's album is 24 tracks and 94 minutes in length after a 2.5 year break. That's why they're selling. They're giving their fans more bang for their buck. It just doesn't seem fair to pay the same price for an album that has a lot less tracks and is a lot shorter, especially when it's taken so long to get it and you know another one isn't going to come along for some time.

And by the way, I think Bruno's albums lengths gives you all the evidence you need that TFM should 100% be considered a full-on album, not an EP or a re-release like some people still classify it. TFM is longer than Unorthodox Jukebox and 24K Magic despite being 1-2 tracks shorter. And it's only a minute shorter than Doo-Wops And Hooligans as well.

The DECAY.

Bruno's album is very disappointing.

Unorthodox Jukebox was FAR superior.

This is the only album I've ever liked from him :lolly:

Poor Bruno :toofunny: and I have come to the realization that pop stars generally don't have long careers. Gaga should quickly embrace rock/metal, she will do well!

Lolol I'm joking.

But still not the best. He was the top male for a bit and now Drake and Justin Bieber blowww him out of the water. I think The Weeknd is stealing his thunder
