Gaga's usually covered on bruises, and they dont appear so easily just because of rehearsing, I mean, just look at Beyoncé, she dances her ass off but still you can barely see any bruises. I'm sure this, sadly, is Lupus related. This is so scary

Please do not speak of such a thing when you are, in fact, not a doctor. This has been going on for 10+ years now with countless different treatments including massage therapy, pain medicine, meditation, yoga, physical therapy, etc. Anyone who says otherwise is misinformed and needs to do research. Fibromaylgia is not just being tense, there have been studies done showing that fibro patients have an increased thickening in the brain and their perception to pain is different than those who do not suffer from the condition. It is NOT just feeling tense and simple as that. There is so, so so so so so, much more that goes into having this condition rather than just chronic pain and muscle aches. I cannot stress that enough. Massage therapy is not going to magically cure my swollen knee joint that I can't even bear weight on for the past month. It's not going to stop my joints from popping/cracking/dislocating (thanks, hypermobility syndrome!). Telling someone they can "fix" it magically with such a cure can be seen as undermining their story and their struggle. Just wanted to let you know that. actually I went to college for this stuff and I have helped so many people with the conditions you have. alot of times, I have heard people say they have tried many methods... but what ive come to realize is that those times they tried, they just didnt find the right person to help them. Not everyone know how to work on someones neck and back and remove their headache or how to fix knee painn that makes walking unbearable. Also, im finishing my bachelors in recreational therapy, and Ima apply to grad school for physical therapy. and im not underminign anyones story or struggle at all. theres also a new field of medicine forming that deals with psychotherapy. how do we pass the boundaries we create in our mind when it comes to healing. what stops a stroke victim who has given up or accepted their fate, and what is it that drives the healing in others who believe they will one day surpass it. I realized anything was possible when I began to massage and do essential oil therapies for an old lady who suffered from a stroke. she was miserable and her life wasnt the same due to the event. her right side was paralysed and stiffened and her right arm was barely mobile, after six sessions along with at home oil anointment and the will to get better, She was a new woman. she was able to shake a hand, turn a doorknob, and write her name. not perfect, but she regained her health. pain is a mental red flag. it is there to tell your body something is wrong. If when you feel pain, you immediately freak and concentrate on it, it gets worse. Take your mind elsewhere and tell yourself youre fine , you are in control, then the pain subsides. Mind over matter.

Mind over matter. I'm not dissing alternative therapies, I've tried everything under the sun and those simply do not work for me and will not, unfortunately, get rid of my chronic pain/illnesses. You wouldn't tell a cancer patient that pain is all in their head and that they're in control. Why are autoimmune / chronic pain disorders any different? What works for one may not work for another. It's not just "mental". I bumped/rubbed my shoulder against the door the other day and literally had to sit on the ground in throbbing pain and it still hurt days later. It's not mind over matter. We'll just have to agree to disagree with this one. We're already getting off topic.

Alex C 254
Guys, she mentioned it is "chronic pain" so it cannot be a bruise. On topic, I also have a disastrous week with my chronic pain in lower back, upper back, but most importantly on my trigeminal nerve on the face. That is a migraine times twenty. I have a suspicion it is the full moon of Nov14, because the moon is closer to earth since 1948. I strongly believe in the moon influencing the people, because every full moon I have strong pains and I cannot sleep at all. Now with this gigantic moon, everything is X100. I am sleepless, in pain and cranky I strongly relate to gaga. I used to use opiates for chronic pain, and I know how much a trap they are: I got addicted. Thankfully, with my will and the help of my therapists, I am now opiate free, and not addicted to anything anymore. It was a long journey but it payed off. Actually, in 20 mins I have to go to Pilates lesson. Pilates really help me with understanding my body and using my core more strong so that I am in less pain. It is a very smart tech. that trains you, ups your metabolism, cures your pain AND you get ripped Perform Living

Like, women this women that. I find it a bit strange and actually find it a bit sexist. In Howard Stern's radio she said, "I just want women to be happy". I get that she's newly single and all that jazz but is she hating on men now? There wasn't a single drop of man hate in what she said though. She's a woman. Of course she is going to speak about being a woman. I'm sorry if you feel left out that she recognises the connection women share. She wrote an album wanting to heal people and have them come together and women need to do that too. You're taking the 'just' in that sentence way out of context, she didn't mean it as 'I want only women to be happy'
