Alejandro MV/ 2 Questions??

So is there a BTS for the Alejandro MV & when exactly was the video shot?!  I remember such a huge massive lead up to the music video for Telephone at the time, pics leaking from the set, the cast, etc.  But not so with the Alejandro MV, it literally just seemed to drop outta no where some time later...

Let's all remember that Alejandro was a "take the third option" when it came to singles.

Everything was probably done in secret or a rush.

Or maybe this was originally the music video for Dance in the dark or Monster and it was retooled for Alejandro.

I can't recall anything from the Alejandro video era really, other than the video dropping and then seeing her perform it on American Idol. However, the release of the Telephone video I recall being very messy. I remember Gaga releasing pictures from different scenes in order to hold us off because she delayed the release.

she retooled parts of the Marry the Night music video for the Born this Way single after she changed Marry the Night to born This Way.

Then after she gave up the original concept of Edge of Glory, she separated her original concept into two separate concepts, both of which are seen in you and I and the new marry the Night music video.

Being an artist does not mean you're not allowed to be lazy. Actually being an artist half the time is like "What can I do to get this sh!t done quicker?"

when she came up with the btw video btw single was already out so she made the video thinking of BTW NOT MTN besides the decision that btw was going to be the lead was made before the VMA's so why would she even think of mtn at that time?

ok she used Yuyi for You and I and not TEOG but how are you sure MTN's video idea belonged to TEOG? besides even Yu y i means you y (Spanish for "and") I so maybe Yuyi was always related to You and I and TEOG was going to be it's prequel

Didn't Gaga release a few teaser clips for the Alejandro video before it was officially released? This is one of them, but I don't know where the others are.

The video was done on a soundstage, indoors, so as far as leaked pics go, there was pretty much no chance of pics leaking. Telephone was outdoors in less secluded locations, so bystanders were bound to snap a pic or two. No pics have ever leaked from videos that she filmed indoors like that if I recall. They leaked for videos like G.U.Y. but never for BTW, Applause or videos filmed like that.

Which parts of TEOG concept were put into MTN? I never knew that.

As far as what you said about it being possibly a concept for DITD or Monster, Gaga was the one who pushed for Alejandro against her label if I remember correctly. It was one of the few times she really got her way with a single choice. Because of that, I would think every part of the video concept was 100% meant for Alejandro.

Yep there were two teaser about a 5 and 3 days before the release. I remember it vividly, because thats when I became a stan. And then the video premiered on her website, when you opened it the whole video played in full screen.

She basically performed TEOG as a Yuyi the mermaid, she even was supposed to have teal hair in TEOG but that ended up on Y&I music video.
