Clinton Campaign blames Media for Loss

This is just... WOW. :saladga: Hilarious. :ladyhaha:

The Clinton campaign is reportedly blaming the news media for Hillary's loss, claiming they tried to "eviscerate" her and gave trump a "pass."

How can they be serious?! Were they watching the same news I was? Where every day Donald Trump's character and behavior was the topic of discussion and put under a microscope?

I'm not defending Trump by any means, but saying the media was the reason Hillary lost is delusional, pure and simple. :saladga: The media is the only reason she came as close as she did to beating him!

-------------------

Hillary Clinton’s inner circle gathered for an autopsy of her failed presidential campaign and concluded that media bias in favor of Donald Trump contributed to his historic win.

A political postmortem of the Democratic Party’s Election Day results has concluded that FBI Director James Comey and a media “pass” for Mr. Trump translated into an electoral landslide for the billionaire.

A private conference call Thursday with Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta, communications director Jennifer Palmieri and other aides addressed what Ms. Palmieri called “the most devastating loss in the history of American politics,” The Hill reported Thursday.

The group’s conclusions differ from assessments of Mrs. Clinton from previously released WikiLeaks documents belonging to Mr. Podesta.

“The media always covered [Mrs. Clinton] as the person who would be president and therefore tried to eviscerate her before the election, but covered Trump who was someone who was entertaining and sort of gave him a pass,” Mr. Podesta said. “We need to reflect and analyze that and put our voices forward.”

Mr. Podesta’s analysis of his boss in stolen emails given to WikiLeaks tell a different story. A Jan 22 exchange between Mr. Podesta and Morgan Stanley vice chairman Tom Nides revealed he was at a loss for ways to politically “lift” the former secretary of state.

That is true though along with other factors. The media on both sides didn't shut up about him from the start. For example, if they gave Bernie one tenth of the coverage they gave trump things would of been different.

The media fed all Trumps racism, sexism and bigotry to his stanbase continuously which is hope he won.

Delusional Aura

I think that because they showed hillary winning most polls, the people that wanted her to win were in a way lazy and did not vote because they thought she had the presidency. However, for Trump supporters, seeing that their candidate was loosing every poll, it motivated them to actually go out and vote and not be lazy. So in a way the media sort of contributed to Hillary's lost but not in the way her campaign is suggesting. I could be wrong, but that's just the way I see it.

Okay, look. She lost the moment she had the DNC assist her in securing the nomination, completely ignoring that she lost against Donald Trump in most polls.

I voted for Hillary and I don't support Trump and I'm not a sore Bernie loser, this is a fact. So don't @ me thx.

Eighteen

it's partially true although there were huge mistakes made by her own campaign, too. in the end, the media equated hillary's faults with donald's and that is simply inaccurate. we can see the media's faults even today, it's 4 days later and only now are they catching on to the "unpredictability" of a trump presidency (CNN), as if the evidence on the campaign trail was not enough to make this absolutely clear. he's been flip flopping all through the campaign and now is doing the same as president elect, i mean what did you expect?

I think this story is extra. It's really pointless. She won the popular vote. Also they got it wrong. The media eveicerated both Donald and Hillary but it covered the positive things Trump did more. Like the visit to Flint and the visit to Mexico. At the end of the day the electoral college perfered a flawed, unprepared man more than a perceived flawed, well prepared woman. It only cost the American public $120 million in unsubstantiated investigations that lead nowhere for the last 20 years. The Republicans won and the nation lost on Nov 9.
