Creyk 17,805
Remember when before the album came out the people at the listening party said that A-Yo is Gaga's version of Shake it Off? After listening to the song, I honestly don't hear the resemblance. The mashup of the 2 songs is not even better than the original. Were the people there high or am I just not hearing something that everyone else does.
MaryJaneHolland 77,348
Well, the intro sounds quite similar

Guest
So every upbeat song now sounds like Shake it off. NY brats that only know Taylor Swift, KP and Megan Trainor as artists
gagaohlala 810
A-YO is a MANiCURE ripp of at most. But apart from the strong base line, nothing similar. Little Monster | Diamond | Cry Baby | Lana Del Rey
Paco 3,040
The few first seconds do sound similar, but the rest of the song absolutely doesnt
LetsGetHigh 52,683
Shake it Off has MANiCURE's clap beat too. So technically A-YO is like MANiCURE. I'm sure MANiCURE is also inspired by an older song.
GhettoFabulous 18,501
Sound quiet similar to me A-yo really is the hit that got away

But apparently it's an extremely generic instrumental. Still love the song.
JHS 4,714
I'm with you. I don't think there's a point in comparing them. They probably said it because of the intro and both songs having trumpets on it but still

But really I don't really mind about singles really I just crave for visuals
