A lot of his own supporters didn't like the idea of Obama using all those executive orders. This is the consequence of that. Laws that are passed through house are harder to remove I believe. His term might be viewed as an overreach of power that failed. But we shall see

I really appreciate Obama, I really admire him as a person, but as a president, not so much.

He did a lot of good things, especially for the LGBT community! for this I can't stop thanking him.

But he kinda forgot about the Black community, his own people... which makes me sad..

The challenge was not to be "the first black president", not at all.. it's just a bandage to the wound.

The challenge was to heal this wound, to heal the America from racism especially the racism toward the black community and here - he failed and a big fail.

The KKK is still legal, the police brutality is rising, the lack of equality didn't change for the good at all.

So Obama, before you stop being polite, maybe give answers for this?

The choice was never "do it via executive order" vs. "do it via legislation". It was always "do it via executive order" vs. "don't do it at all". The legislature was not cooperating.

I'm rude? You literally made a value judgment about him about something you don't know anything about in order to try and belittle the President, and I called you out on it.

Dosent give him the right to do what he pleases anyway. There is a reason we have checks and balances.

I pointed out action he took and a historic view point that  MIGHT occur. I never said anything bad. Just pointed out his executive power and view some have that he used it overreaching

You think once his policies that have high approval are repealed by a republican controlled government, HIS approval ratings will tank?
 

Can you explain this thought process a bit more? Because it truly doesn't make any sense. When the republicans take good ideas and trash them, it's not his approval rating that will tank.
