Oh no people should not be bringing kids into politics like this

Trump brought kids into politics when he decided he would deport their parents, when he decided they had no right in choosing to use the restroom they identify with in school. That their parents have the right to put them through torture, all because they are gay. Trump is attacking kids and their futures, and unfortunately they have no choice but to be involved.

"Who are we, if not slaves to this torment?"

It's not as if this was a violent riot. It was a protest. Protests are a vital part of a healthy democracy.

If more parents taught their children the basics of politics, philosophy, and government we would have a more educated electorate, and someone like Donald Trump would not be president.

You don't want to scare children, but keeping them in the dark isn't helpful either.

Let's stop acting like kids are stupid and don't know.  Kids are incredibly bright and aware and everyone writes them off.

I saw a heartbreaking video on FB where kids were saying their parents would have to go to their countries.....while they will have to stay

Haroon

In Trump's supporters' defence, what the girl said in this video may not be against what some of them are for either :emma: Depends why they voted for him, it's not as simple as "love is love", like many voters could believe in that too but the other policies appealed to them more :laughga:

I'm not American but I feel like people need to stop making blanket statements about all supporters, whether Hillary's or Trump's, and then also making statements about the whole of America being stupid/idiotic/etc because not everyone voted one way at all and it's not fair to the people that don't lie within the criticism

I hope I'm even making sense, I'm probably out of my depth but I did want to share my feelings

When they voted for Trump they voted for hate, what were they doing while he was talking bullshit everyday? sleeping?

I get what you're saying, you're right.....my mind is an ethical conflict rn....

She is a young mixed race female. She just witnessed the living embodiment of misogyny become President of The United States after running a campaign which stoked racial tensions and degraded women. This little girl is uniquely qualified to speak at a Trump protest. It's her future that is at stake.
