KURUSHITOVSKA 20,451
That's quite ugly to say, ofcourse but i also think elders like 65+ shouldn't be able to vote. Why are they going to decide a future they won't live? ¿Qué currículum tiene ésta tarántula?
Miky 9,491
You all are saying how disgusting Trump is but you agree with this abomination saying something like this? FUK, this site will never stop surprising me. Disgusting, go tell that to your grandparents. Too many people here with moral superiority complex. HOTNebraskaGuy 19,547
We should make it to where older people's votes weigh less, it sounds harsh but it's a lot better than taking the right to vote away/wishing death on them. One, five, ten lay a million on me

Miky 9,491
Just now, Creyk said: Did you read the thread? Most people are not agreeing. Ignorant. "Harsh but I don't disagree" "Old people shouldn't vote." "Their votes should weigh less." What kind of deluded idea about how democracy works. Too many people here with moral superiority complex. Stmated 1
She's talked about this on her weekly Swedish podcast once, when they talked for some tens of minutes about Brexit. I think this is meant in a sort of tongue-in-cheek way, at least it was in that episode. She did talk about how it's unfair that people who won't live to see the effects of their choices get to influence so much. She usually just don't care about being tactful, and says things in the heat of the moment. Usually brings some haters, but so far it's worked well for her publicity-wise; not having a filter. Besides, it's a tweet, meant to be kind of funny, kind of controversial, kind of truthful. If it said "I wish younger people had a stronger majority" it wouldn't get retweeted at all. lifeasgeorge 9,427
If all the millennials actually showed up to the polls, "old people" wouldn't be an issue live and let live
Mythos 3,199
I don't care if this will cause some controversy, but this is a problem that should be adressed. Older People often screw younger generations, and they don't even care, cause they won't live long enough to live with the consequences. THAT IS JUST AWFUL. Sepsami 18,915
Everyone saying that these old people won't feel the consequences. Let's not forget that many of them have children and grandchildren so surely they're voting with them in mind aswell. They're voting for what they think is best for the country and it's future. Zara deserves all the backlash she will get for saying something this stupid.
