I see there is a specific bias Jerusalem is more than the P-I conflict, it's also a multi religions conflict, USA takes the Christianity side and will not recognize Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel because it gives a symbolic exclusivity to the Jews on Jerusalem.. The previous Republican presidents could do it but they never did for example.. Also to recognize it will set the area on fire, no joking, it will be an irresponsible action. So I don't see it happens anytime soon.. I prefer to have peace and that everyone will recognize first, it's smarter this way imo..
