Sure, it seems harmless ... till you look at the live election results...Trunp has over 34 million supporters...those who now hate Gaga and won't support her anymore. She will be branded as the Hillary puppet. People will boo her at live events like the SuperBowl, stop buying her music etc. Remember what happened to Dixie Chicks? Gaga and Katy ended their careers? Not really ended but I think it's dangerous to talk about politics if you're a singer/actress etc. If it was Sanders vs McCain you can talk and I don't think there would be a problem about that but when it's Clinton vs Trump it's better to just shut up. Cause both of them are not respectable people.

I hope she gets back to Joanne.
Necca 166
That would mean that Gaga, Katy, Beyonce, Jay Z and thousand other celebrities all destroyed their careers since they all publicly supported Hillary

Epione 10,896
I'm glad she stands for what she believes. At least we know what she supports. Couldn't say the same about Taylor Snake who is too concerned for her money and image.
Titzlol 607
Yes but not by supporting Hillary like the other popstars, but with Joanne yes

If I was her I'd feel embarrassed. Why? She stood up for who she thought was the better candidate.

ARTBOP 7,433
I honestly don't think she cares about what anyone that supports Trump has to say about her, plus I wouldn't want her to pretend she is something she is not just to sell. That's not the Gaga i know and love.
doppelganger 3,933
Proud of Gaga ! Those who only care about Gaga's acceptance by middle America .... Go ahead and stan for Taylor Swift.
Nemo 4,291
The Dixie Chicks thing was specific to country music fandom, which was very conservative. Mainstream artists are 99% against Trump, so anyone who boycotts them won't have much left to listen to. And some people -- at least as many as would be offended -- actually appreciate it when someone stands up like that.

You can't say that W Bush presidency wasn't a disaster for the world.
Manul 7,377
The only thing I didn't like was the MJ outfit. I get it was symbolic and everything but your average guy/girl won't get it. MJ has a vast amount of iconic looks, but of course she had to pick the one that looks like a nazi. it wasn't laaaahv
