Or you can write in Bernie, have a clear conscience, sit through 4 years of Trump and then when next election comes hopefully the country will be "shocked" into changes. Many think voting Clinton will just reinforce the status quo, which is the opposite of what they want.

At least, that's one theory.

This is accurate. Neo-liberal, hallf-assed conservative policies that the Clintons are big fans of are the reason for the rise of someone like Trump on the right. The answer to nationalistic proto-fascism is not more of the same that created that atmosphere in the first place. People have lost their jobs, homes, savings and other livelihoods, are stuck with no upward mobility and a failing health system thanks to these policies and they are rightfully pissed off. 50% of the nation has been pushed into poverty or the "working poor" while all the new wealth generated is being sent to the super rich elite, so people have a right to be pissed. More of the same that has created these problems, which is what you will get with Hillary, is not the answer and will only ignite a fire in the right that will give rise to something much much worse, like Mike Pence (who is now positioned to challenge her in 2020) who has establishment and voter backing. That is truly terrifying.

Also, writing in Bernie is a waste unless you live in one of like five states he is registered as a write-in in. It would be better to help build a party that actually appreciates and stands for its constituency.

Indeed. Many are saying Paul Ryan and others eyeing 2020, and after 4 years of Clinton, and especially with Clinton running for a second term, any of them would win quite easily.

4 years of trump is 4 too many. I love Bernie to death sis. With Hillary, Bernie will hold her to her word and if she's too leftist then he will destroy her chances for reelection

I don't think that's a concern. :toofunny:

I'm not from the US but she seems to be a good candidate, at least better than DT and HC.

Why Michelle didn't candidate herself?

A lot of racists/bigots/ignorant people do not like Obama and that's a pretty sizeable portion of the US. As much as it would've been a good move for Michelle, she would not stand a chance against Hillary in terms of public appeal because of Michelle's policies on health, which are trying to help us as a whole but people love their soda and gross school lunches

I really hope Michelle runs in 2020, and I really hope Hillary does a great job at not making the Democratic party seem totally abhorrent to Republican party members. That would either eschew another term for Hillary or one for Michelle if Hillary does not choose to run

That video is perfect. Even though it's not relevant to me, my opinion has never swayed on who should be the next president. He came in as a joke and he's still a joke to me, it's horrifying that he's made it this far and also been such rivaling competition to her.

Then you have the people that's like "I'm voting for a third party because I hate both of them", which is another throw away vote

Talking to someone as if they are stupid is definitely not going to help your ignorant case, it just makes you sound like a troll. I study politics. I work in politics. I work for the Democratic Party. Hillary will not win my state of Tennessee, so a vote for her here is effectively worthless, please understand that.

Jill actually can win if people would pull their heads out of their asses and stop falling for the two party trap - she is on the majority of state ballots to carry the Electoral College and so is Libertarian Gary Johnson, but I do not agree with his policies. A vote for Jill Stein and the Green Party here helps them move toward 5% of the popular vote so they can attain ballot access across the nation and federal funding. This will allow a truly Progressive party to rise and hold the Democratic Party accountable when they don't take their Progressive base seriously and abuse them for votes, like we saw this year. It also allows me to not compromise my integrity and values because Hillary does not align with my most important core issues, as evident by her record and who she solicits donations from - Jill Stein does. Sorry 'bout it. :classy:

Yaaaaaaaaaas!!!

im voting for Jill too-- to support a truly progressive party, not one owned by banks and corporatist ideaologies, or one run by angry misogynists.

I chose Jill Stein. The only Progressive running and the only person that has never been a Republican.

And the only person who has 0 chances too.

People should use their brains instead of their hearts when it comes to politics.

Yes let's vote for someone who is evil because we're bullied into doing so. Forcing the 2 party system is why our two candidates are beasts from hell. Vote for someone you believe in. Not someone you're forced to choose. That's not democracy.

....ANYway just gonna say I love Hillary since somebody needs to represent the silent majority that can't be bothered to argue with all these foolish people. She's a progressive that understands you can't always get what you want, doesn't make her evil. Makes her the best kind of liberal. This is a positive. Everything about her is great.

I will vote for a dozen evils before I actively let the Supreme Court fall into the hands of the republicans again for another 30 or 40 years!!  :koons:

It's not a throw away vote to use your vote for someone you actually believe in. The 2 party system is crooked and unamerican, and if we keep shaming people for wanting more than we'll always have a broken system with broken leaders. We should not accept evil and I won't.
