Naor Daniel 937
To be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of "raw and analog" music, I always care about the production and I love listening to "instruments only" to know the song even better. Perfect Illusion is the only song sounding "electronic" in 'Joanne' and it's the most enjoyable for me to sing out loud when I'm driving. But what about the future? LG6 and on? I think this era was meant to be analog because of its personal message but is this just a phase? or is this what we are going to expect from Gaga from now on? tomsches 17,434
If she does, I hope it will still be mature electronic music and not simple dance "bops" made for the clubs and the charts.

AlexanderMagno 10,746
Eventually, yes. Probably not for LG6, she seems so deeply into a more "raw" sound, but I can see her trying to fuse electronic and analog somehow... The field of electronic music is so limitless that I can't imagine Gaga being away from it for too long. For someone who likes to experiment so much, she has to go back. And being "raw and analog" for now will teach her a lot about music and give her more insight into what sounds she wants to create.
Miel 15,009
In my opinion, maybe not to the extent as her first four albums, but I don't see her completely leaving it behind. The first half of Joanne, surprisingly, has a lot of electronic influences, though obviously not as heavily as her previous album's. -Diamond Heart's pre-chorus -John Wayne's chorus/drop, and its bridge (which kind of grazes the recent tropical-house trend) -Dancin' In Circles is like if somebody did a more organic remix of an electro-dancehall song -Perfect Illusion as a whole But, in the end, we'll never know. I personally didn't expect this album to be as heavily organic as it ended up being, so who knows? Maybe she'll go full-on fück-boy EDM with a future album. 3 points in and ready for more
MaryJaneHolland 77,348
Sure. When? Nobody knows Just because she left electro for one album (even tho there are still electro parts), doesn't mean she will never go back to it.
