Gagas love 722
The special HausHair The aesthetic, The beats, the melodies, the lyrics. ARTPOP literally set me free because she really expressed through the album and the experience, that she had liberated her mind artistically.

I dont look at it as a "rap song" just a song. and its great. twista is amazing and that beat changes completely throughout the song. each rapper has a different style. It was executed the way she wanted to. Maybe one thing here or there may not have gone her way but such is life. and for people to have a bias because of the negativity around the era and let it taint the pure message, just sucks.. Anderson123 38,474
I knew people would go back to it when Joanne came out. Same with Born This Way, a lot of fans throw trash at the "current" album but when the next one comes, they all miss the sound of it and appreciate what she did. I wonder if this always going to be like with Gaga's music?

It was a perfect imperfection and thats why I love it! It was chaos and rightly so! And it proved that even though so much was against her (fans, the public/media and her manager at the time) she could rise above it and stand by her work! She really instilled that rebel and rebellion in me!

She really instilled that rebel and rebellion in me! exactly. it wasnt meant to be a certain way but the way it was. the songs themselves are chaotic. its her expression at the time. I remember her instagramming a pic saying she was obsessed with tacky and mismatch and ugly fashion. cause it was rebellious. It was a perfect pop record and it was basically ARTPOP all through out. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Art_pop
Gagas love 722
"Art pop is a loosely-defined style of pop music which reflects an affinity with practices in areas of non-musical art, such as pop art, cinema, avant-garde literature, fine art, art school studies, and fashion. Artists draw on the collapsed boundary between high and low culture while moving away from the conventions of rock music and traditional pop audiences.Central to some purveyors of the style are explorations of pop as commercial art or notions of artifice, style, or irony" - wikipedia
