Wow! I love that you have a deep connection to Hey Girl! Its a very powerful song and the vocals from both of them only makes it even more harrowing! Really hope they sing it live somtime!

Thanks, they have to sing it live! This song means a lot to me... makes me realize how important and incredible it is for women to have the company and friendship and love of other women in their lives (which unfortunately I do not have rn). Glad to know your opinion on the song, I feel the same.

There's nothing better than music connecting people! That's why I love her shows so much. Thousands of people in a room together having the same experience, going through the emotions together, singing the same words together. And she made it all happen. The same words she wrote when she was alone somewhere, with a pen and paper, writing about her feelings.

It's why the performance of Angel Down and Joanne on the roof of The Bitter End (where she begun as an unknown girl) also made me cry! It hit me when I saw a crowd of people below in the streets, and they were singing Angel Down back to her, after the album had only been out for about a week.

Man... music! It's one of the best things we as humans have.

I CANNOT WAIT FOR THAT FEELING AGAIN! Have been to so many beautiful and amazing concerts but NOTHING beats the feeling of being at a Gaga concert with everyone! Ahhhhhhhh! To feel her music as it comes out of her directly - to feel every word and note <3 <3 <3

I love everything about this album and era. Its really about re connecting with people, with yourself, with life, with your passions, to strike balance between whats real and whats not and between life and death. bloody powerful!

The roof top performances! Imagine having been there! I love when they actually sang it back to her. You could tell how much that meant to her too!

THE FACT WE EXIST AT THE SAME TIME AS HER IN THIS BIG WIDE UNIVERSE

Definitely Grigio girls. Sometimes the hardest thing is seeing someone you care about slow slip away and not being able to fix it as its not a matter of "here take this pill and you'll be cured". Gaga is one of those people that doesn't let a lot of people in but once she does, she loves you like no one else has. I couldn't imagine one of my best friends having terminal stage 4 cancer. It would rip my heart out. My best friend Mandy is epileptic and 10 months ago, she had a grand mal seizure and whacked her head against the stairwell in her apartment. Her boyfriend rushed her to the emergency room and luckily her speech and memory were intact but she had to re-learn how to walk, feed herself, brush her teeth, etc. There were days I asked myself "why her?" but then I would always see someone worse off and I would tell myself "thank god everyday that she's alive." Once she gets 100% better, she and I are so totally getting "sisters never pack up" tattoos in honor of the song

I love you monsters. I'd be unfixably broken without you

I don't cry with music ever. I guess Joanne is an exception because I was driving home from visiting my brother last week and Joanne came on my playlist and I started crying pretty heavily. My Aunt told me this really crazy story about my Grandma (who passed away 6 years ago while she was still relatively young) a few hours prior, and all I could do was think about her and cry. The song is beautiful in so many ways, and it's even better that you can connect it to someone. That's what I love about Gaga. Her music is so personal but she makes it so easy to relate to by sharing her raw emotions.

P.S. I was glad I watched the 2nd dive bar performance alone because it made me emotional   I very almost watched it at my friend's place with him and that would've made the experience different. I love feeling connected to Gaga through her music.

The rooftop scene from the 2nd tour made me so emotional. It was like we just had this connection with her during that song. People ask me to describe the bond we have with gaga and it's like "I can't. You have to be a part of it to understand". I remember reading a story (can't remember where) about a monster that had given her a gold plated cane during the BTW Ball. She looked at him and said "how did you know?". He knew that her hip was killing her and he just wanted to help in his own little way. That's the power of the bond we have with her. We can just feel when something isn't right. Lol god that sounds so totally hippie haha.

It hurts feeling Gaga and Sonjas pain in that song! Sonja is SO bloody brave! Inspiration! And Gagas love for her and those that she does let into her life is beyond this world! Even the love she gives us fans! My Nanna had Alzheimers for 10 years. That was the most heartbreaking thing watching her dissapear mentally and physically bit by bit - til she was completely lost :(

OH WOW. I have epilepsy so I can empathize with you there. :(  Thats so scary and I feel for her and you! Thats a massive seizure! shaking at the thought. The threat of it happening anytime and in the most dangerous situations is something that always hangs in the back of your mind. SO GLAD to hear that shes okay! And am sending love and light and hoping everything is as alright as it can be and shes 100% better real soon!

THATS A BEAUTIFUL IDEA! Making me teary eyed and I'm gunna listen to Grigio Girls now in her honour! Its both a saddening song but one that gives you this strength that will never be broken no matter what!

AWWWW so amazing to see other people having that deep of a connection and reaction too!

I know! Every song has some kind of emotion it draws out of you and then puts back into you! Shes really made something deep rooted and magical!

Its a shock hey when a song makes you properly cry its so powerful a feeling. So alien at first.

You're so right. It was insane seeing all those people in the street singing along after Joanne had only been released a week before. People may dismiss her influence these days, say that she's "lost it" - she hasn't. There are so, so many people out there that are so connected to her and her music.

The second dive bar show was that show I cried and I live watched her sitting one the edge singing for fans who couldn't get in that's the one I'll never forget and she sang Joanne and angel down. Epic

Joanne, the song. I love it so much but I skip it everytime. It hit me twice like a brick and  ****ed me up. Rightwhen she gets to the part of not saying goodbye and her voice getting thin **JESUS** Help me!!!

My brother who was just 2 years older than me went in for surgery last year and never made it out of the hospital alive. He spent days able to listen but not see or talk. He could only answer by slightly nodding or shaking his head. I NEVER WHISPERED I LOVE YOU because my voice would fail me (now I'm crying, smh). In those final days I was there but I never got to say the important things I should of gotten out. Joanne makes me relive those days. That's why I don't see myself ever enjoying the track as much as I do like it.

THIS. When Gaga says she is always giving back to us she sure is! And its through her music! She makes it so personal to her yet its also so personal to us. As she always said she sees her in us. I love that you could connect the music to your Grandma and family and that the song was powerful enough to bring that emotion out in you. Its beautiful <3 She'll always be alive in your heart and soul and having lost so many grandparents over the last year I know the feelings. Whenever you hear that song shes always there with you <3
