LaLuna 12,732
Now, I absolutely love Joanne, I've been listening to it non stop ever since its release. But it's also very different from what Gaga's done in the past, except maybe Red and Blue, and I have to say, the genres that Gaga explores on that album (folk, country, blues, Americana, etc.) are usually not my cup of tea, but she makes it work. Then I got to thinking, would I still like Joanne if it was by any other artist? To be honest, I'm not so sure. I think while Joanne is not Gaga's usual dance/pop/EDM sound, it's still very Gaga, and that's why I love it. Anyway, what do you guys think? Would you still like Joanne if Gaga wasn't on it? Head Empty 25,178
Nope, but it's been that way for every Gaga album . I rarely listen to female (pop) artists, but Gaga just happened to strike a chord with me. And because I've become so personally involved with her artistry, I tend to get enthused more easily by her material. AndyDWUW 3,971
If this was her debut album I don't think she'd be able to get famous or have a super successful song OT: Not likely
Red 97,987
I think so if it caught my attention, I mean, I love Adele, Amy, Marina, Lana... The person would need to become somewhat famous for me to know they exist first but that's what happen to every artists I guess, I'm sure there are a bunch of flawless singers with legendary music, EDM or "analog", out there that I don't know of If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating. juju 18,907
#Jeauxanne is very unique, it has the musical roots but with Gaga's mystique. No one else could pull off this blend, not like Gaga. ❤ x ❤
Bear 7,515
Yes, I'd like it just as much. That's assuming I ever found the album since I wouldn't know about it's existance.

Other female pop singers are boring to me compared to Gaga
Denys 848
Imagine Katy perry or Rihanna doing Joanne (no auto tune? and going out of trends?) not possible!
PMKKARDASHiAN 8,570
Nope. I like it cuz I love gaga, but this style of music I don't usually like. There's a few songs I do enjoy, but I enjoy them more because they are gagas. If someone else had done them, I probably would have listened to them for a week and move on. AlexanderMagno 10,746
No. I don't enjoy this "americana" style. I give it a chance because I still enjoy Gaga's voice.
