Beyonce removed from CMA social media after racist abuse

So it seems that Beyonce's performance yesterday at the Country Music Awards received some negative attention and she's been the victim of racial abuse on social media. In response to this, the CMA's have removed every detail from all of their forms of social media that even proved that Beyonce had attended the event. This is abysmal as Beyonce clearly drew a big audience that would have otherwise not have even been watching the award show. Disgusting.

Their website: http://www.cmaworld.com/cma-awards/

Their twitter: www.twitter.com/countrymusic

After gaining some controversial attention and realising that people have noticed they've deleted all the Beyonce content, they've just posted this onto their Instagram. Too late, damage is done.

Why? Are they caving into racist expectations?

It's a bit of a shame honestly

I was rooting for them....

Walk down the runway but don't puke, it's okay. You just had 10 donuts today. Without frosting.

You can protest police brutality without hating the police. Not all Americans seem to get that.

But I guess if they don't see that as possible, then surely protesting against black crime or "thugs" must equate to them hating black people.

The main reason I'm a fan of country music is because of Carrie Underwood. She got me into that genre. Miranda Lambert also loves Beyonce and Gaga. But yea, country music still has a loooong way to go.

I doubt this has anything to do with race. Even Gaga performing would have seen some kind of backlash. I guess not everyone is a fun of Bey . Esp country pple

Beyoncé's race definitely played a factor in the backlash she received last night. So keep fooling yourself :bye:
