11:06 a.m. PDT Wednesday: Those protesting the creation of the Dakota Access Pipeline have a new ally: Sen. Bernie Sanders.

Sanders made his feelings known during a Hillary Clinton campaign rally on Tuesday.

“Stop the Dakota pipeline!” someone in the audience yelled out during his speech. “Damn right,” Sanders shot back:

Such an outstanding man. Still fighting strong.

Can't wait for him to hold Clinton to her word.

This is why I don't understand how some Bernie supporters are voting for Trump, when they have a better chance of getting what Bernice promised with Hillary than with Trump.

They aren't, Trump voters are pretending to be Bernie supporters. I assure you, anyone in true support of the ideas that Bernie presented would not support Trump as an after-thought.

Some Bernie supporters were low level racists and misogynists and were more into the "let's **** things up" mentality than anything.

You're giving people way too much credit, I know several people who were die hard bernie supporters who are so polarized to hate Clinton that they are voting Trump even knowing that he won't be for any of Bernie's policies :smh: Some people on this website were even of that mentality after he loss the primary. Some still are I think :emma:

In all fairness, primaries are very bitter and people say things they don't mean. For example, when Clinton wasn't indicted, I on FB called for her assassination (I don't threaten her, I said "it'd be amazingly great if she wereshot and anyone who does it will have my approval")

I now support Hillary Clinton

Other than confessing this pretty gross thing you said, I'm not sure what this does in response to my comment... There are some Bernie supporters and independents who will actively vote against their own interests because of the way the media has framed Hillary Clinton to be some lying devil who can't be trusted... this is still factual

it could also be the small part of the bernie supporters who don't really understand politics (which is a majority of people i've personally spoken to), and are bandwagoning, corruption-sounds-worse-than-misogyny-so-i'll-vote-for-trump people.

but the media is kind of to blame for this i mean somehow clinton is coming off as a corrupt liar when the fact checkers have actually reported that trump is lying ~80% of the time while hillary is lying ~25% of the time (about average for a politician). i mean, really? the data is there, try picking up a book or googling something other than kylie jenner for once, millennials, like damn.
