It's simply called visiting her website.

She wants to turn up the amount of unvetted refugees to 650%.

She wants to duke it out with Russia when, if Russia and us got along, we both could defeat ISIS collaboratively. (Russia is not a fan of ISIS)

Repeating the ignorant **** Trump says doesn't make it a fact. You either didn't visit her website, or you have a comprehension problem. Immigrants are currently vetted, and they will continue to be vetted under Hillary.

Also, Russia is not in Syria to defeat ISIS. If you believe they are, you haven't been keeping up. You should step outside your echo chamber, because you are grossly misinformed.

I thought Trump just referred to Mexico. And most immigrants in Florida that are Hispanic aren't from Mexico.....they're from South America, Central America, and the island countries surrounding.

I'd also like to say none of the victims were here illegally and for the most part were second and third generation Latino Americans.

It's kind of ignorant of you to say that.

It's kind of ignorant to aggressively promote Donald Trump under the pretense he cares or will help LGBT people when he has pledged to do the exact opposite. Also, Trump's supposed "deportation task force" would affect all undocumented individuals living within the U.S. Not just Mexican Americans.

Well not shocking, hatred is like a disease, it spreads really fast. So turning hate into hate isn't hard.

Trump's peers had previously used homosexuals as scapegoats for all our countries moral shortfalls, but Trump turned homosexuals into American martyrs worthy of defense against Islamism. It's a little more complicated than just him spreading hate. He cauterized a long held hatred for one group so that he could gin up hatred for another group. It's strange, and it leaves the GOP in a strange position for the next presidential election.

Yeah, and vital to the repeal of gay rights in every area of our lives too, what is your point?

I'm not under the impression that a Trump presidency be beneficial to the lives of gay Americans. So, what is your point?

Any gay person voting for Trump is clearly insane.

It is extremely condescending to reduce LGBT rights issues to cakes. They have to do with protection from discrimination and legal equality as promised by our constitution. There are still states in this country where people can be fired or evicted legally because they are LGBT and new discrimination laws are being put forth by Republicans all the time. Homeless, unemployed LGBT people in this country are far from privileged.

Privilege is ignoring the years of hard work LGBT rights activists have done for us in this country from Mattachine to S.T.A.R. and beyond and voting for an openly anti-LGBT political platform because you were born in an era where your sexual or gender identity is no longer illegal in this country. Because you have no sense of how far we have come and how much voting against LGBT interests can set us back.

War hawkish or not, her and Obama's terrible deals with Iran and bad ideas with Syria contributed to ISIS growing.

She wants to duke it out with Russia when, if Russia and us got along, we both could defeat ISIS collaboratively. (Russia is not a fan of ISIS)

The fact that her record as a foreign diplomat was not effective, hence the increasing number of domestic terrorism and terrible attacks like Benghazi.

She wasn't even for full LGBT rights until 2013, after being Secretary of State.

What's the point of defeating ISIS? All the terrorists will just come to Europe and world leaders know that. That's one of the reasons why Russia wants to defeat ISIS (to cause a refugee crisis and terrorist attacks): so their number one foreign policy goal, which is to break apart the European Union and NATO, can be achieved thanks to political instability here. The US and Europe know that you have to give ISIS a slow and painful death or it will just pop up somewhere else. ISIS is an ideology, not just a country.

May I remind you that Saudi Arabia is just as bad to its people as ISIS.

I know it's popular and easy to say "hurr hurr Trump racist xenophobe" but let's get down to the bare bones facts. Trump has shown interest in electing Supreme Court justices that will reverse the order of same sex marriage equality and bring it back to a States issue - while not the biggest tragedy in the world as the vast majority of states had already legalized it, it's still a notable set back that shows Trump has the religious right in mind far more than the gays. By pandering to Christian's feelings, he's willing to reverse the ruling on LGBT civil rights. That's not exactly beneficial for gay people.

Secondly, he wants to sign the First Amendment Defense Act which will effectively legalize all discrimination against LGBT people by healthcare, employment, businesses, etc. as long as the reasonings are religious. Yes, even atheists could theoretically use this excuse. One of the most marginalized groups in the United States will have that safety net revoked, and it will likely spur a wave of anti-LGBT sentiment. Just look at the major increase in assaults committed against LGBT people after Brexit; people love a good victory lap war against the communities they don't like.

Now look at Mike Pence, who LGBT Trump fans will be effectively voting for. In the early 90's, he stated that gay people as a whole were not well-bodied enough to join the military as a response to the AIDS epidemic. From an outsider's viewpoint this makes sense, but it seems to me to be an excuse for their exclusion from protecting their country without concealing what they are. He also wanted to end and divert HIV/AIDS funding towards LGBT conversion therapy, which obviously does not work. You can't change sexuality. Firsthand accounts by those who have been in those therapies/camps show that they have a morbidly high suicide rate; they essentially work by the typically religious workers conditioning people to hate every part of themselves until they're self-loathing and submissive enough to be molded into a heterosexual, God-fearing image. Some even would suspect a return of electroshock therapy as treatment, although that might be out there. The thing is, even if it can be argued that funding LGBT conversion therapy isn't anti-LGBT, it simply doesn't work! It would be a complete waste of government funding and take away from the effort to cure and eradicate a disease that has plagued the first world for decades. This all being supported by a guy who thinks condoms don't work against diseases and are a work of the devil; yeah, not a smart guy in these areas.

Trump himself has shown support for trans people using the bathrooms aligned with their gender identity, but him and Pence lean towards a sort of "common sense" law that's worrying in its ambiguity; though to be fair, I haven't looked into those claims extensively.

Despite all this, LGBT people can still support Trump based on his economic, immigration and overall policies unrelated to gay people. That's perfectly fine. But the fact of the matter is, Trump's proposed policies would temporarily dismantle the civil rights we as a community have fought so hard for in a number of states, all for the purposes of pandering to the emotions of the religious right wing. Some LGBT people are fine with that, and once again, that's okay. But to initiate a movement to proudly and without reserve pledge support to a man that appeals to another group's feelings over your civil rights seems...kinda off. I have my own concerns about Trump that are objective, and I know where I do and don't support him. I couldn't 100% support either candidate, and I wouldn't pretend to.

While Hillary may not care about LGBT people, the Supreme Court Justices she'd assign would be liberal and wouldn't even consider reversing the same sex marriage outcome, nor would they entertain the idea of approving laws that detriment or remove policies that protect the lives of LGBT people. Her policies would ultimately be more pro-LGBT, but as for her actual feelings towards them, I don't know. Perhaps nobody but herself knows. But when talking about action and not words, a liberal Supreme Court would benefit LGBT rights more than Trump's conservative one.

In closing, if Trump follows through with the policies he's proposed, the LGBT movement will be negatively affected. If some are okay with that, that's fine. It just appears to me that pledging undying support to that man as an LGBT individual is selling yourself out to a niche for attention and to "get right" with right wing heterosexual males. Which, as someone who is LGBT knows, is not new behavior for some gay people.

Especially since his first words after the attack was patting himself on the back 'cause he thought he was right about "radical Islam".

"Gays for Trump!"
"Blacks for the KKK!"
"Jews for Hitler!"

Get out of here. What a f*cking joke. Any gay person that stands by Trump even after his promise to strip us of our rights and signing on Pence, a perfect example of a politician with his morals stuck in the stone age, is a few fries short of a happy meal. Either that or they've gotten their thinking twisted and they believe that others' "right" to put them down is more important than their right to stand on equal ground and be validated for the human beings that they are.

Or to put it in Trump's simple lingo...

"Sad."

I still say whoever gave him that flag is cleverly protesting. For the writing to be read, he has to hold it upside down.

Flying the American flag upside down is an officially recognized signal of distress. § 8(a)The flag should never be displayed with the union down, except as a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property.

I'm sure that applies to the pride flag as well.

It's either that or the same case of that white woman holding up a "blacks for Trump" sign. Some straight dude didn't care enough to get it the right way 'round and gave it to him to give us the illusion that he cares :rip:
