I love Britney but those songs are not near the same level as Bad Romance. You must be mad sorry. Baby one more time was ten times more impactful than Bad Romance. It was out of this world. Intergalatic, bombastic, never seen etc. Same goes for our moma, but that Britney song was just a meteorite falling on earth. No song has beaten that cultural happening
Rockets 1,807
lmao it will never beat this timeless, iconic bop Spoiler The only girl I've ever loved was born with roses in her eyes

No song has beaten that cultural happening Well, I still don't think it had bigger impact than Bad Romance. MAYBE if Britney had so much promo platforms as Gaga did that song would be even bigger, but BDR remains the best so far. Also, BOMT/Oops are like really huge - can't denie that. I'm sorry to get out of topic, but what was your age when Britney debuted her album? It's not about promotion nor just the imapct on that year, it's sales, records etc. We're talking about how all the people born in late 80's feel when they hear that song. That song brings an imense nostalgia, people connect to it. I'm sorry but i don't think people feel the same way about Bad Romance. It's an imense song, it's extremely catchy, the visuals are forever imprinted in your memory, but it lacks that universal feeling of belonging. But let's wait some more years, it's still too early to judge. Sorry for any insensivity
