Clinton Begins to Fall as Trump Inches Back Up

The Washington Times and USA Today is claiming the polls are tightening this week, as Trump gains on Clinton. Last week national average polls had Clinton at a 9% point lead at 49-40.

National surveys conducted Oct 23-26 have Clinton at a 48-44 lead, narrowing the gap with a potential 5% point error.

This is not good news for the Clinton campaign in the final weeks leading to the election, and it could tighten to a true dead heat as the FBI revealed Oct. 28 that they are re-opening Clinton's previously closed EmailGate case due to new findings that could lead to a Corruption investigation.

Things also are looking shaky for the Clinton campaign, as Trumps campaign revealed Friday they are adding an additional last minute $10 Million ad spree, and are expecting the "biggest bombshell" leak from Wiki leaks in the coming days.

This is eerily reminiscent of the 1980 Election, where controversial actor Ronald Reagan was falling miserably (11%) behind in the polls for months, until his campaign ran a blitzkrieg of ads against his opponent in the final two weeks, resulting in a Republican landslide victory in 1980.

Has Trump's plan all along been to "pull a Reagan?" And will Hillary be able to survive all of this last minute distortion?

A 4% lead is still a huge lead in American politics. This article is based on one poll too, while the margin of error makes it necessary to use multiple polls to get a better idea.

What I think is that Clinton's actual lead might have slipped one or two percent, but because in that particular poll Trump's supporters were represented better (by accident) the actual number is 1% or 2% higher. Nothing to worry about. Hillary's still going to win by a landslide. Trump has a very small chance of winning Pennsylvania, Virginia, Wisconsin, Michigan, Nevada and Colorado and thus won't win. He can have Florida, North Carolina, Nevada (all three almost surely dem), Iowa and Ohio and he'd still lose.

No Clinton is doing fine. Texas is a swing state now... :ladyhaha: Clinton's pretty much got this on lock :ladyhaha:

If you knew anything about polling data you would not say she has this "on lock". Especially considering CNN and MSNBC have admitted they've been asking more democrats than independents or republicans who they are voting for.

Don't be surprised.

There are alot of in the closet Trump supporters who are afraid to admit they are voting for him because they are afraid to be branded racist or ignorant. I know at least fifty people this month have told me they wouldn't even admit they are voting for him in a social setting, but they will just keep their mouth shut and vote for him when they get to the booth.

This is literally exactly what happened in 1980.

All Trump has to win outside of typical red states are Florida, OH, and PA and he wins.

Trump is probably the worst polling candidate in Republican presidential history going into this election. (And he has the nerve to say Mitt Romney was a massive failure :ladyhaha: ) I mean he can't even keep solid republican states like Texas, Georgia, and Utah on lock :ladyhaha: And does it matter? look at the Fox News polls, those also say Clinton has huge leads.

That's not an argument. You go do some research. I know you're sitting in your safe space in a pro feminist vegan wellness coffee shop and think anything middle of the ground is right wing, but er.....those are definitely not right wing like The Heritage Foundation or Breitbart.
