I'm not sure how MR will do on radio, but the GP *REALLY* likes MR and the sales were stronger than A-YO. With enough promo and decent play, I can see MR being her 14th top 10 hit. Guest Posted October 28, 2016 Share Posted October 28, 2016 I wouldn't compare this to Judas/TEOG because Judas got a video and everything and actually had time to be a single, and then after TEOG's success, it was rushed-released. I also wouldn't compare it to Venus/DWUW because unlike DWUW, MR had its preorder release and then climbed all the way back to the #1 spot. It's a similar idea, but it's its own situation this time. Keep in mind that nothing has been announced by Gaga, so she's not going back on her word. Don't get mad at her or Interscope. They're trying to make the best decision while being professional about it. I applaud her and the label for how they're handling this compared to past album singles changes. It's only mentioned on some unknown page from Interscope nobody checks that A-Yo is the second single. And it's not like she needs to hurry performances now that she practiced already (like the mess that happened on X Factor for the DWUW performance). It would be fairly easy to change the single at the moment and yes, when MR hits #1 I don't see why she wouldn't immediately make it a single.
